Tyler Perry’s The Oval has finally gotten more interesting now that Hunter’s all awake and ready to investigate the person who caused him to overdose on Fentanyl. While the search for the culprit continues, the rest of the Whitehouse members are busy dealing with their own problems.
Starring Ed Quinn and Kron Moore, The Oval is a messy political drama that centers on the lives of the people working in the Whitehouse. This includes the charismatic yet perverted president Hunter, the two-faced wife Victoria, and the rest of the butlers and security personnel.
After 5 seasons of The Oval, the relationships and drama have only gotten more entertaining and dramatic. Hunter had to step down from his role as the president since he had a near-death experience after using mysterious drugs.
Now taking up Hunter’s role, Eli continues to build an empire while Victoria also plans something for herself. Simone and the rest of the members are trying to find out who was responsible for causing the overdose.
For the 5th season, the cast of The Oval consists of Ed Quinn in the role of Hunter, Kron Morre plays Victoria, Daniel Croix Henderson plays Jason, and Javon Johnson stars in the role of Richard. Eli and Simone’s roles are portrayed by Russell Thomas and Kaye Singleton, respectively.
What Has Happened So Far?
Alonzo is shot by Hunter for betraying him, but he manages to survive because he is wearing a bulletproof vest. Hunter is then informed that Sharon could be involved in the plan against him, but Kyle doesn’t believe it as she is in jail due to domestic disturbance.
Kyle is asked to find out who moved Allan, while Alonzo is sent to the pharmacy to investigate the details of the drug operation. Eli meets Simone at the confinement, and she confronts him about the woman who was with him on the phone. Eli finally tells her that he has to be nice to Victoria to prevent things from getting worse.
Eli denies having an affair with Victoria and asks Simone to apologize to her. Richard is called to Hunter’s room, where Hunter asks him if he was involved in the OD incident against him. Since Sharon told him everything, Hunter knows that Richard has a much clearer idea about the whole situation.
Priscilla comes in, and Hunter starts asking her about her husband’s whereabouts. He then reveals that he had supposedly caught him sleeping with Victoria the night before. Kareem wakes up at the hospital, and Antonio calls him to let him know that the president had overdosed, and now the VP Eli was placed in the role.
Kareem’s surprised to hear that and asks him to pick him up from the hospital. Kareem then calls Dale, who talks about the drugs that he had been involved with. He doesn’t tell Kareem what he did with the remaining drugs. Alonzo shows up at the hospital and punches Kareem in the face.
He’s then taken somewhere else, where Alonzo could properly interrogate him. Simone gives Kal the audio recording and lets them know about Hunter’s fentanyl overdose.
