Ultimately, the eagerly awaited debut revealed all that happened to Rick Grimes, a prominent figure in the TWD world who departed the program during Season 9 of the first run.
But the spin-off centers on Rick’s spectacular return as well as his marriage to Michonne, a different character who later left the show to look for her husband. The reunion of the two characters in the spin-off is anticipated to be one of the most poignant events for the TWD fandom. Read the story through to find out more.

“Gone,” the second episode of The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, is expected to delve into Michonne’s past while also presenting her gang. Given that Michonne was the one to attack the helicopter, it is probable that she is assisting an opposing organization in overthrowing the C.R.M.
The upcoming episode will be similar to the first one, except it will show the events from Michonne’s point of view. After Rick and Michonne’s reunion, there will be a “surprising” twist in The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live episode 2.
Rick’s CRM helicopter crashed-landed in the woods at the end of episode one after being ambushed by an unidentified party. One of those individuals is revealed to be Michonne in the closing moments, as she and Rick eventually get back together after nearly ten years apart.
Recap
Rick made numerous attempts to flee once C.R.M. seized him, even losing his left hand in the process. At some point, the organization’s lieutenant colonel, Donald Okafor, made an attempt to get Rick to enroll in his program in order to become a soldier instead of just a regular consignee.
Over time, Rick was able to establish himself as a soldier next to Pearl. Rick attempted to flee in spite of everything while traveling to one of his tasks, but he was utterly unsuccessful. Rick had a suspicion that Okafor was fighting with him and knew about his people.
Okafor had no intention of harming his people, even though his instincts were correct. In order for them to jointly reform the dishonest C.R.M., he wanted Rick to perform his duties more effectively. Rick and Pearl found out that ninety thousand people had perished along with the city of Omaha.
Pearl thought that C.R.M. was the only one who could provide a secure haven. Rick gave up on his escape and lost all hope. He even made an attempt at suicide but failed. He accompanied Okafor on an operation now underway that involved flying in a helicopter to a distant location.
It was an unexpected strike that murdered Okafor. The other two troops were killed, but Rick was able to safely land the plane. Rick was taken aback and surprised to learn that Michonne was the assailant.
