‘The Odd One Next Door’ is a shoujo ongoing manhwa which was first published in 2022. The manhwa’s romantic plot has made its way to many people’s interest, and it has a very light storytelling while also touching the slice-of-life genre.
The main story revolves around our female lead, Yoo Gaeun, who is living a damsel life. Gaeun had a terrible experience of dating in her past as her previous boyfriend ditched her to marry a wealthy and renowned actress. She now has very little faith in dating life. On top of that, it is not like she has a very likable family.
Yoo Gaeun, in her present day, runs her late mother’s studio. She also seems to have problems with her twin sister. She often has to clear her sister’s scandals to protect her. Yoo Gaeun has a heavy responsibility on her shoulders. Despite all the troubles in her life, she lives a peaceful life for herself.
One day, everything changes when her new neighbor, Kang Siwan, moves into her nearby house. But they always seem to be in sort of an argument while Gaeun tries her best to resolve the matter. But the question is, will they ever be able to come to an understanding? Or will the fight always go on?

Recap and Review of Chapter 66
When chapter 66 starts, we see Junghye and Siwan having a conversation between them. As the conversation proceeds further, we get an unpleasant feeling from this.
Junghye is talking about their past relationship with Siwan, although it becomes very evident later that their history was not very good with each other. Right after their break up, Siwan makes up with another girl who upsets Junghye.
Junghye comes to know about the girl from Soochul for his peculiar behavior. From their conversation, we also come to know that Junghye has a habit of sabotaging matters for others.
She looks desperate and apologizes to Siwan, but Siwan is ardent about his new relationship and says to Junghye that this may be the last time they will be seeing each other. Junghye leaves heartbroken while mentioning something about her parting gift.
After their conversation ends, we see Gaeun making an entrance. Siwan tries to brush off the whole thing, but it looks like Gaeun has noticed them engaging oddly, but she does not inquire. Siwan still has some tension regarding Junghye’s parting gift, but soon after, they leave the place. Siwan drinks too much, and Gaeun gives him a ride home.
Gaeun now has some suspicions about Siwan and decides to ghost him for a few days. Siwan is also panicked as he thinks there must be some reason behind it and one day, she gets a text from Gaeun, who wants to discuss something important with him.

Chapter 67 Spoilers and What to Expect
Siwan and Gauen both had a complex relationship before they met each other. But Siwan is still dealing with some scars from his past. In the previous chapter, 66, we see Siwan and his ex-girlfriend having a rather rough conversation, and Junghye leaves Siwan on a cliffhanger.
Gauen might have caught them the moment they were taking and decided to make distance with Siwan for some time. However, as for spoilers for the next chapter, the secret behind Gauen’s text for wanting to have a discussion will unravel what she has to say.
Will this be the end of their relationship? Siwan is also tensed up on a different matter as he does not know what Junghye meant by parting thus, we also might get a closure into this matter. So, stay tuned until the next chapter gets released.
