“Lost World” is not a world that simply exists in games. It is a land abandoned by the gods due to an incident in the past. On that planet, a once brilliant civilization blossomed. Different races lived in harmony. However, for unknown reasons, the gods left it.
The game “Lost World” was created to find suitable new candidates for the planet. Just by trying, you can become a god. It is essentially like “The Lost World”. At first, only shabby things will believe you. If you call out those who believe in you and rely on you, you become the only god on this planet.
And the best part was that you can do anything you want. All the desires you have ever dreamed of it is feasible as a god of that world. But if you give up, you will go right back to your daily life. Instead, you lose your memories of this place.
Also, you can not give up mid-challenge. Just like that, Choi Seung Woon received a small area of “Insects” with the lowest win rate as his place of conquering.
The starting point was at the eastern end of the continent, which meant that battles did not happen often in the beginning. Gaining benefits through early engagement meant that it was difficult to use an aggressive strategy.
Previously on The Nebula’s Civilization Chapter 16: Recap
In The Nebula’s Civilization Chapter 16, we learned that frogmen can not leave water bodies for a long time, but lizardmen are best at plucking fruits and climbing trees.
So, sharing food with them would be a good exchange for protection. But the lizardmen were also good at protecting themselves, so they did not see a fair deal. The frogmen try to please them by telling them that Aulroy’s frogmen are the biggest tribe in this forest and the forest is dangerous.
The crew then trades a water buffalo with the lizardmen for a pouch of arrows. Owen then tries to explain to his crew about helping each other out and how they could split the pressure and work by doing so. Looks like there will be a few complications soon between the two races.
The Nebula’s Civilization Chapter 17: What To Expect From The Upcoming Chapter?
Now, when Owen pitches his vision for shared responsibilities and teamwork, it might not be smooth sailing. Maybe the lizardmen, proud of their ability to handle themselves, could see it as an attempt to mess with their independence.
That water buffalo trade, while a gesture of goodwill, could also stir the pot. Perhaps the lizardmen, placing a high value on their resources, might feel like the exchange wasn’t exactly a square deal, leading to some brewing tensions within this budding alliance.
As the two groups try to coexist in the forest, there might be unforeseen challenges that strain their teamwork. Maybe there are external threats, previously off the radar for both frogmen and lizardmen, that force them to rethink their partnership and forge a stronger bond for survival.
The delicate balance between these creatures could start to teeter, bringing in unexpected twists that keep readers on their toes, wondering about the fate of this oddball alliance.
The narrative could dive into how these distinct beings learn to trust each other, navigate their differences, and ultimately overcome the hiccups that come with their unique strengths and limitations.
