In the previous Episode 7 of Season 2 of The Misfit of Demon King Academy, we see Anoshu Polticoal and his friends along with the company of Shin. The Demon King ordered Shin to protect Reno at any cost.
Therefore, he was with them in the forest. Suddenly, spirits appear — went straight to Leno and says, “Grandma is going to disappear soon!” We got the news that Reno’s grandma is going to expire soon. And before she passed away — she shared all the wisdom to fight. From the single drop of Reno tears, a new family member emerges from the ground known as the Great Tree teacher, Enyunien! And this is where Reno’s grandma teaches all sorts of things!

The Misfit of Demon King Academy Season 2 Episode 7 Recap
Previously in Season 2 Episode 7 begins with Reno and her friends guided by fairies toward Reno’s grandma. Reno’s grandmother is about to pass away, according to the fairies.
The time finally comes for Reno’s grandma, the Great Spirit Tree Migelonov, to Leave the world. And before her departure, Migelonov offered Reno’s friends all her wisdom to fight.
Anoshu Polticoal doesn’t require it. And therefore, the leaf has vanished in his hand. Reno’s grandma left the world after talking for some time. In the next panel of this episode, we see a single drop of Reno tears hit the ground, and a new family member emerges known as the Great Tree teacher, Enyunien!
Reno says, “There is no violence inside this tree, so don’t worry if the divine beast attacks.” Anoshu Polticoal says, “So you’re able to give birth to Spirits at will.” To which Reno says, “I may be the Great Spirit Mother, but I can’t do it at will.”
“It’s more like her emotions spill out, I guess?” This explains clearly that Reno — due to her emotional state at the time — was able to give birth to a new member of the family. A while later, we see Reno and Shin head out into the Great Forest, and there we see Reno trying to arouse feelings of love in Shin, but his inability to understand the feelings hinders progress. After talking to him for a while, Reno discovers that he will never understand the feeling of love.
Suddenly, Eldmed Ditigeon appears in front of them and has a short conversation with Reno and Shin. He announces that he has come to help her prevent the child of God from being born in this world.
In the next panel, we see Leno and Shin follow him to a nearby pond, where Shin hopes to meet Nosgalia, the Heavenly Father. In the latter half of this episode, Eldmed Ditigeon tries to kill Reno, Great Spirit Mother, to force Nosgalia to show himself. Shin eventually stopped him, saying that his master, the Demon King, would rather fight a powerful foe than put Reno’s life at risk.
Eventually, Nostalgia shows through Eldmed. Later, we see the conversation between him and Shin, where he explains Shin’s nature as a human-like of the Demon King’s god-slaying sword without emotions.
He also offers Shin a chance to live on his own terms, capable of emotions and defeating the Demon King. But Shin refused. It is enough to show the Shin royalty toward the Demon King, Anos Voldigoad.
