Kim Ji Woong, in the story of The Law Of Being Friends With A Male, is a girl whose love life has not bloomed. She had high hopes in college, but things did not go as she wished them to. As any high school student would have, Kim Ji Woong also fantasized about college life.
On the other hand, Lee Seo Hyun, who was also quite excited about college, discovered that things are not like the movies and dramas in reality. As they both continue to live their daily lives completing assignments and performing tasks, they come across each other.

Recap
We saw in the last chapter of The Law Of Being Friends With A Male, that is, Chapter 34, that Kim Ji Woong finally had a boyfriend. The biggest change in her life after getting a boyfriend was that the number of calls that she made had increased dramatically!
Kim Ji Woong got so excited about calling Lee Seo Hyun every day before going to bed—just like last night. Kim Ji Woong had found a cute snail on lettuce, and she was keeping it as she wanted to take care of him. Lee Seo Hyun asks her if she has given it a name.
Kim So Hyun was one name that Kim Ji Woong had come up with for the snail as it was a combination of both their names, but Lee Seo Hyun told her that it would be weird if someone heard her calling that name to a snail.
Kim Ji Woong then decides to go ahead with Snaily as her pet snail’s name. Lee Seo Hyun asks Kim Ji Woong if she wants him now when she tells him that looking at the snail reminds her of him and makes her want to see him more often.
Eventually, Kim Ji Woong and Lee Seo Hyun ended up meeting, and she also showed him Snaily. They talked for a bit as well. He seemed to really like Snaily. The next day in college as well, Kim Ji Woong was very excited and hyped.
Kim Ji Woong then decides to write down everything she wants to do with her boyfriend. The list started from taking walks and sitting together during lunch time and had all sorts of couple stuff such as talking on the phone before going to bed and walking while holding hands.
Lee Seo Hyun then tells her that these are all things that they have already done. She gets flustered and realizes that kissing is the next thing on the list. She begins to blush, and Lee Seo Hyun tells her to meet him this weekend at around one in the afternoon.
