The Idol Episode 2 is releasing sooner than ever, fans are curious about the same. If you are a fan of the HBO series Euphoria, this drama series is going to be your new favorite.
The series has once again been made by Sam Levinson, who has now gained the trust of HBO because of his out-of-the-box direction style and methods of storytelling. He often uses gore content such as sex and substance abuse in his episodes, which was clearly seen in Euphoria, but everything is going to dial 100 times more with The Idol as it seems.
A trailer has been released for the show, which gives insight into how adult the plot is going to be. As for the fans who might get triggered by some of the very traumatic scenes from the show, it is advised that they do not watch the same.
The Idol Plot and Cast Details
Coming to the plot, a synopsis has been released for the same, where we will witness a cult guru and a rising pop star in a very troubling relationship. The lead role is bagged by Abel Tesfaye, who has also written the series with Sam Levinson. He will reprise the role of Tedros. The man is a self-help guru who has now become a leader of the cult. He has his eyes set on Jocelyn, a rising pop star in the country who had a minor setback in her career.
Lily-Rose Depp enacts the character of Jocelyn. She faced an issue in her career and had to cancel the tours because of a nervous breakdown in front of her fans. Thus, at the start of the series, we will witness her on a journey to bag the title of the sexiest pop star in the country once again.
A trailer has been released by HBO Max for the upcoming series, which sees Jocelyn falling for the tricks of Tedros without any question. As is obvious, he will completely brainwash her into submitting her soul to him in a blind dream of achieving immense success in the industry.
But he is the antagonist and mostly has his own benefits at heart. His past will also be hidden mysteriously, and no one knows where he has come from. Some of the biggest names from the industry are also starring in the series, such as Troye Sivan and Jennie Ruby Jane.

Later that night, Jocelyn decides to go to a nightclub to blow off some steam with her best friend and assistant named Leia, and director Xandor as well as Dyanne. This is where Abel Tesfaye’s character, Tedros is introduced. He is the owner of this club and him and Jocelyn immediately connect.
