The Heavenly Demon Can’t Live a Normal Life Chapter 105 will be airing next week! Previously, the soldiers of Cairo were able to sucessfully win the battle with the Chronos Empire. However, this wasn’t enough to ensure their safety.
The battle merely ended on the arrival of Roman Dimitry, as the enemies fled from the field. Now that they were safe for the time being, Roman insisted on a new plan to protect their kingdom from its ruins.
He suggested that they now attack Chronos instead of calling it a win. In Roman’s head, the Chronos empire would continue to kill their men and attack them, so it was better that Cairo defeated them once and for all.
Recap
The Commander of Chronos Count Fabio ordered to prepare the flares and magicians for battle. Since Flora was in charge of detonating the trap for his soldiers, she was still holding it back as she didn’t want to risk it failing. If she were to release the traps early on, then the enemies would have time to recover.
If the enemies were even 300 meters away from the trap, the magic won’t have much of an effect on them. To maximize the damage and kill them in one strike, it was necessary for the enemies to come at least a hundred meters closer- that was the moment Flora was waiting for.
Meanhwile, the Magicians in the field are preparing all the mana for the attack. As soon as they get the command, they release the trap and Count Fabio orders his soldiers to charge and attack. When they enter into Flora’s territory, both sides of the army are heavily injured.
Flora encourages her troop to take heart and push further. The enemies had lost their mages so they now had the upper hand. If the Western front were to collapse, then all their families and the people living in Cairo would be put at great risk.
The battle held out till the following day, but thankfully the army of the Chronos empire was growing tired. By the third day, despite being close to breaching the fort, the enemy was countered with the arrival of Roman Dimitry.
Seeing Roman, Count Fabio had no choice but to retreat with his army. After the battle had ended, Roman, Flora and the rest of the Cairo leaders were discussing on how to move forward. Roman suggests to change their attitude to avoid being trampled on by enemies liek Chronos.
The King had entrusted the authority over to Roman and handle all the battle related issues despite the others wanting to take a break and claiming to be safe. Seeing Roman, his brother was shocked at his drastic change over such a short span of time.
Roman used to be a drunk who lazed around all day and got in trouble with the guards, but now he was leading the army of Cairo. Roman’s brother hoped to be the one leading the empire to the western front and restoring the Dimitry family name, but now Roman had achieved al he wanted in an instant.
Meanwhile, the others were still against the idea of going against the Chronos Empire, saying that Cairo had no benefit by slaughtering their men. Flora added how tired the troops are and attacking now would mean an intentional suicide for the soldiers.
Roman insisted that Cairo should no longer hold back from being the instigators and begin attacking Chronos in order to prevent future attacks from the empire.
