The First Descendant has received two consecutive server-side hotfixes, versions 1.3.34b and 1.3.34c, aimed at fixing issues affecting the ongoing Assemble Event I and Ancestors Module rewards. Released on July 15 and July 16, 2026, the updates are available for Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox without requiring players to download a client update.
Because both patches were applied server-side, players only need to return to the title screen and reconnect for the fixes to take effect. Nexon also advised that the game may automatically close if players do not reconnect shortly after the update is deployed.
The First Descendant resolves event progress and reward bugs
Hotfix 1.3.34b addresses two major gameplay issues. The first fixes a bug that could intermittently reset player progress after completing the Daily Personal Goal mission in Assemble Event I. The second resolves an issue where the Option Tier on the Ancestors Module rewarded through Onslaught Mode Weekly Bonuses was not being applied correctly.

Nexon confirmed that additional details regarding compensation or follow-up actions for affected players will be shared in a separate announcement.
Shortly afterward, Hotfix 1.3.34c resolved another issue involving the Ancestors Module Loot II reward. Players who reached the required Personal Contribution milestone in Assemble Event I were previously unable to claim the reward if their Ancestors Module inventory was full. The latest hotfix fixes that problem, ensuring eligible rewards can now be claimed correctly.
With these back-to-back updates, Nexon continues to address event-related issues quickly, helping ensure smoother progression and reward distribution for players participating in the latest content.
