We already saw our protagonist training with the demigod to level up his powers but he has finally managed to awaken the power of gods in previous chapter. After many fights and beatings, we finally got to see Mord awaken and become aware of his innate potential.
Even the demigod looked pretty impressed by his progress and gave him a homework to find a balance between Artia’s power and the God of War’s power. Mord has obviously a lot of thirst for gaining power and changing the tragic events that may happen in the future. He knew what fate awaits Leon if he gains the world fragments and the power of God of War. Apparently, Leon’s decision to entrust the world fragments to his so called ally caused the world’s destruction.
Obviously, Mord wants to stop that from happening since he has to live in that particular world now. His intervention prevented Leon from finding the stone pallet in the first place but it looks like Mord might let Leon use that tool sometime in the future.

Recap
In the previous chapter of The Extra is Too Strong, we saw that Mord conveniently shrugs Leon off his trail before destroying the place where God of War’s relics were supposed to be kept. There he finds the stone plate that he had obviously been looking for and he uses that to go to the realm where God of War trains him.
The demigod looked kind of happy to see Mord because it had been a while since they had trained. In their training, the demigod unleashes his own self at different stages of life and Mord fights against them. The one who comes first was someone who had been beaten by Mord before and he provokes Mord this time.
Next, the demigod sends another version of himself that is more mature and Mord gets a little nervous. His clear eyes showed that demigod had made the Artia’s powers his own by that stage.
That version uses mana acceleration but Mord is not surprised to see that in the least. The demigod becomes a bit impatient and rushes to attack.
We all got stumped and even Mord couldn’t believe it because that guy got blown up easily with a single punch by him. The result was pretty hilarious and it was as if Mord couldn’t accept that particular result. Well, the demigod did understand how Mord felt and sent a much stronger version this time.
However, Mord could hardly beat him and got beaten up again and again hundred times. However, the moment we were waiting for came and Mord turns to his instincts to win that fight. Mord ends up unleashing Artia’s powers to try and beat demigod which brings the end of that lesson.
