The episode begins with Mo Ne carrying her newborn under the bridge when she meets Jin Mo. He takes away the baby, promising to let her know if anything happens. Meanwhile, Da Mi reaches her grandfather’s house, but Bang Chil Sung refuses to let her inside. Da Mi faints due to her worsened condition, and her biological mother, Geum Ra Hee, witnesses the scene but is least concerned about her.

Her focus instead is using her daughter to get investment from Bang Chil Sung. When Cha Joo Ran notices an unconscious Da Mi, she is reluctant to help, but when Household arrives, she has no other option but to call an ambulance. She also calls Da Mi’s adoptive parents to the hospital to explain the situation.

She also tells them how Da Mi’s biological mother is only interested in extorting money from Bang Chil Sung. On the other hand, Chil Sung feels guilty for not treating his granddaughter right. Geum Ra Hee uses the opportunity to gain sympathy and acts as a caring mother who expresses her concern about Da Mi’s adoptive parents using her for money.

The trick works wonders as the next day; she gets an investment of 20 million for her drama and an additional 30 million for Da Mi.

On the other hand, Jin Mo informs about the newborn’s death to Mo Ne. She is focused on her audition ahead. During the final round, the lights go off, which she uses as an opportunity to shine. She wins the audition, and numerous agencies want to hire her.

To her surprise, the news of a girl giving birth in school is spreading, which leaves her reputation at stake. She decides to frame Da Mi for it and asks for Jin Mo’s help. The two, along with a few others, spread the news of Da Mi being the pregnant girl who gave birth in school. This calls for a committee that decides on expelling her.

Moreover, Ra Hee and Mo Ne join hands. When the school and the rest are convinced that Da Mi is the mother, Ra Hee starts acting cold to her daughter, although she knows the news is fake. Da Mi questions her why she abandoned her and also threatens to reveal the truth to her grandfather so her mother does not secure a penny of investment.

This enrages her, and she chokes Da Mi and crashes her into a fish tank, driving her unconscious. In the last scene, everyone rushes to the culture forest where the beanie that Mo Ne bought for Da Mi, is lying, with blood spilled on the side.
