Recap And Review
The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 Episode 6 sees Shadow Garden finally taking the matter about John Smith into their hands due to the latter being persistent 665 to look over, Alpha has Delta after this matter. Delta confronts John Smith, and after exchanging a few blows, she realizes that John Smith is none other than Cid.
Delta is curious to know, but Cid distracts her by giving her a new mission herself, and thus she follows this order. Meanwhile, we see that Alpha is furious since Delta did not return, and she thinks that Delta has been killed by John Smith.
Thus, Alpha goes after John Smith and does the same but soon realizes that the latter is Cid is sad about their betrayal. Wanting to know why Cid would do this, Cid only responds that he is on a secret mission but it still leaves her heartbroken.
Meanwhile, Gettan has been worried about the sudden inflation and the counter bill that has been going around the city. Cid finally leads the Yumike and confronts her at the hideout. It is shocking that the latter did not do all of this for fortune but for revenge on Gettan.
She reveals that Gettan was the one who married her by making her fall in love and killed her parents soon so that he could acquire the position that he was in.
