The Eighth Sense Episode 3 is set to release next week! This is a new and upcoming Korean BL series that premiered its first episode on 29th March, 2023. The K-drama is set to release 10 episodes in total with each episode lasting around 30 minutes in total.
Ji Hyun (Oh Jun Taek), our main character, is a first-year student at a Seoul institution. He is accustomed to living in the tranquil farmland because he is from a tiny rural town. He finds it difficult to build lasting connections, and moving to the bustling capital of South Korea has left him feeling lost and confused.
After finishing his required military duty, the older Jae Won (Im Ji Sub) is now returning to Seoul and the same university. Mutual interest in one another begins to grow between the two. But when Ji Hyun joins the same surfing group that Jae Won does, things start to get out of hand.
As Ji Hyun grows to adore surfing and the sea, their relationship starts to get closer. The couple finds themselves together alone when the surfing club sets out on a trip, and they kiss. Jae Won later starts to behave as if nothing ever happened between them, though. Is this merely a brief fling or a once-in-a-lifetime love?
The Eighth Sense Episode 2 (Recap)
The Eighth Sense Episode 2 begins with the Free Bird Club going on their first surfing trip. On the bus, Ji Hyun falls asleep on Jae Won’s shoulder, who happens to be his senior in surfing. The two of them exchange greetings and reach the destination.
When the group reaches the beach, they all settled down in their respective dorms and come out after unpacking all their things. The freshmen introduce themselves to the other club members and later, they go to take their surfing lessons. Jae Won decides to teach Ji Hyun and takes him to the waters.
The two of them begin practicing first on the sand and then eventually shift from the shallow waters to the waves. Being his first try, Ji Hyun was still pretty bad at it, but Jae Won appreciated his hard work and bought him food to warm him up. The two of them went to shower after their surfing lessons.
In the meantime, Eun Ji, Jae Won’s ex is skeptical of Ji Hyun and how close he had gotten to Jae Won in such a short amount of time. The group begins their bbq night after a long day of practice and fill their stomachs with good food.
They later move on to building a campfire and play the “I Like You” game and get to know each other. After the game ends, Ji Hyun goes alone to the beach and spends some time by himself. However, Jae Won and Eun Ji start talking in the same place where Ji Hyun is sitting regarding their breakup.
Jae Won tells her clear cut that he has no feelings left for her, and it would be better if she forgot about him as he was trying his best to act civil towards her. Eun Ji had done something wrong and he could not forgive her for it. Jae Won noticed Ji Hyun sitting alone and went to him ignoring Eun Ji.
The episode ends on a cliffhanger. While the two of them have a heartfelt conversation on the beach, Jae Won pulls him closer, as if about to kiss him. What will happen on the next episode of The Eighth Sense, will we witness our first kiss of the show?
