Love Island Season 9 Episode 57 will be this season’s finale episode. This season is finally ending after some good and a lot of boring episodes. But anyways, since it is the final episode, it will be interesting. First, we see the couple practice some dance moves then we will get to the voting and the winners will be revealed.
Aside from Love Island Season 9 Episode 57, we have much to discuss. From Aftersun Madness to the parents coming in, to Will and Jessie being dumped, to Kai and Sanam being in the finale.
When it comes to this talking about the finale again at the end of Love Island Season 9 Episode 56 when they say “we’re in the finale. Yeah. We’re all here”, that just seems rehearsed to me. I don’t like it when they do stuff like that. Cut that stuff out we don’t want to see them reading messages when they know they’re in the finale because they’re definitely going to be there.
Love Island Season 9 Episode 56 Recap & Review
Before diving into Love Island Season 9 Episode 57, let’s quickly recap and review the previous episode. Shaq’s sister is not here for Tanya. I get it, she’s upset. She’s emotionally attached to her brother and she doesn’t like her brother being played left right center and, therefore you know is angry and is annoyed and wants to do something about it and therefore you can see that in her face.
She said to Shaq “you forgive too quickly. You love with your heart. You give 110%. So just be careful because I want to see that energy reciprocated”. And unfortunately, we just don’t see it sometimes and that’s what they feel as a viewer.
I can see why her sister feels that way and is upset by the whole situation and you can definitely tell the tension between Shaq’s sister and Tanya. But of course, that’s just the first meeting guys. And of course, she’s going to see that, she will be frustrated and irritated or you know just feeling type a type of way or whatever emotion you want to call it.
But I do feel like as they begin meeting more on the outside of the show, things will be okay between them. Right now it’s just tension because nobody likes what’s happened to Shaq, bringing in Martin, etc. It’s just chaos basically for them, unfortunately.
So I do feel like it’ll be okay between them, but you can definitely tell that there was tension between Tanya and Shaq’s sister. I’m glad that Shaq’s sister kept it real because I love it when the family, the parents, and the people come in and they keep it real. I love that so much because it basically just gives us some kind of realism to this show.
Will And Jessie Are Dumped
I’m glad that Sanam and Kai are saved. Honestly, with Sanam’s father not being there and then getting emotional as her parents come in, it’s a lot to deal with. So I feel like people feel empathy for her and that could also help her win the show as well. But those are just natural emotions because she doesn’t have her father around. But at the same time, you can just tell that there’s chemistry is there between Sanam and Kai.
I don’t know what it is but when Samam and Kai got saved, it looked like Tanya was looking at her sideways. I don’t know it could also be edited at this point. So we don’t know, they could be looking at something else. But it looks like from the editing of the way it was shown, that she was a bit side-eyed that Sanam got saved and they didn’t expect that. Maybe Tanya thinks that Sanam shouldn’t deserve it because she hasn’t been there for that long enough.
Long and short of it, at the end of Love Island Season 9 Episode 56 we got to know that Will and Jessie are leaving as the public thinks that they are the least compatible couple. Of course, we knew that before even the episode. Yeah, Love Island Season 9 Episode 57 is the finale.
Of course, Maya apparently leaked the least compatible couples via stories by accident. I’m pretty sure production will be just irritated by it and have to obviously then tell us on the adverts that Will and Jessie are dumb because they showed it on the stories. It is what it is, mistakes happen, accidents happen, don’t think it’s that serious.
Will and Jessie being dumped were not surprising to me. I feel like Will messed it up more than Jessie. Because if Will had not gone for that girl in Casa Amor and kept it loyal, because he was very much loved at that point, I do think that the audience would have maintained that for him. Because when he came in, for the first three-four weeks he was one of the most loved characters.
So I definitely feel like he could have maintained that had he just maintained it. But unfortunately, he didn’t, that cast doubt in people’s minds. And then Jessie got over-emotional, sometimes we didn’t see tears, which also dampened and questioned stuff. But that was a reaction toward action. So had Will not messed up, they probably would have been the finale.
Parent’s Episodes Are Great
The parent episode to me is something that I will always enjoy. Because it’s a wholesome episode it’s pure, real, genuine emotions with them seeing their family. Samie breaking down as well, Jessie looking at her sister, Shaq’s um sister there’s well, Tanya’s mother and Auntie there. Like you just see these genuine emotions between these people.
At this time this is one of those episodes that I always like regardless. Because I feel like the emotion that is being displayed is definitely genuine. And I like that because that’s what we miss when it comes to reality TV because everything seems so highly edited and produced. So when we get small pinches of what reality TV really should be, it’s just nice. Because that’s something that we can relate to and you might get emotional watching it as well.
Love Island Ratings
The Love Island Season 9 readings have been released. I don’t know they haven’t been released for the last couple of weeks, to be honest with you. But unfortunately, they have reached a new low. The ratings have been released for the last episode were 700, 000 people. That is extremely low guys. We’ve gone from 2.5 million to 700, 000 as we’re gearing up to the finale, as the majority of The Season’s been done. That is a huge drop. That’s a new low that they’ve ever reached: From 2.56 million per episode to 700, 000.
I feel like it’s a seasonal effect and a cast effect. I don’t think it’s to do with the hosting. Because Sam and Maya are doing a fantastic job. So I don’t think it’s got anything to do with them and it’s a shame that they’ve come on a season where you know the ratings and the cast and the Season’s not been as great. But at the same time, I don’t think that it is to do with them because they are doing Aftersun is much better so.
Now the summer season is going to be impacted by this Season’s ratings. It’s going to be higher than in winter but lower than last summer. So we’ll just see what happens and then Love Island All-Stars is coming as well so we’re just gonna get an overload of reality TV at this point. A lot more happened in Episode 56, but let’s discuss when Episode 57 of Love Island Season 9 will release and what will happen.
