The Dazzling Young Lady’s Marriage Proposal, or Kiraboshi Ojou-sama no Kyuukon, is a romance comedy manga that follows the school life of Yoshimi Numamoto after she gets proposed by a rich and beautiful girl one random day.
Yoshimi thinks that the proposal was a misunderstanding, but the rich girl Hikaru truly wants to marry him, and that’s how the story progresses further, with Yoshimi denying the marriage proposal and Hikaru being persistent in her efforts.

The chapter opens up with Hikaru tightly hugging Yoshimi while she looks at everyone with a pouting face because she doesn’t want to give his beloved to anyone else. Yoshimi asks Hikaru to let go, as she has been hugging him for an hour now, but she doesn’t listen.
Other people also try to get Hikaru away from Yoshimi, but she hugs him even tighter, so tight that the writer describes it as some kind of Pokemon attack by calling her a “Binding type girlfriend.”
After a while, Hikaru finally lets Yoshimi go, and she then apologizes to him by telling him that she is just anxious. Hikaru says that when Yoshimi was kidnapped, she had a lot of bad thoughts rushing to her mind.
Hikaru says that she has been kidnapped many times, so she is worried that Yoshimi will also go through what she went through. Yoshimi feels shocked to know that she has experienced this before but that it is to be expected of the daughter of a wealthy man. She says that she wanted to rake the kidnappers on coal, but then she learned that it was Narumi all along.
Narumi apologizes to Hikaru, and Yoshimi feels even worse than being kidnapped. He tells Hikaru that he was just playing games with Narumi and that no kidnapping has happened. He then asks Hikaru to just forgive and forget. Hikaru gets even more angry as Yoshimi never plays games with her, but he plays them with Narumi.
Yoshimi tells Hikaru that he will be more careful from now on and asks her not to become anxious anymore. Hikaru says that if he truly wants her not to be anxious, then he would have to hug her to calm her down. Yoshimi feels puzzled as he just hugged Hikaru, but she argues that when people hug each other, then oxytocin is released from the brain, which makes them happy and less anxious.
Yoshimi couldn’t argue with science, but he felt a bit tensed because a pretty girl like Hikaru was asking him to hug her in front of so many people. Yoshimi convinces himself to just go for it, but he takes too much time just standing in one place, which makes Hikaru sad. Yoshimi gets anxious after seeing Hikaru getting sad, so he just forgets everything and hugs her.
Yoshimi then asks Hikaru if she feels calm now, and she hugs him even more tightly and says that she’s so happy that all her worries have disappeared.
Hikaru then asks Yoshimi how he feels about her return hug. Yoshimi gets confused, and so she clarifies that she wants his feedback so that she would be able to provide better hugs in the future. Yoshimi, in a soft voice, tells Hikaru that her hug is soft and delicate, but she asks for more.
Yoshimi further says that she also looks beautiful up close. Hikaru feels overjoyed by Yoshimi’s reply, and so she hugs him even more tightly. Yoshimi nearly chokes, so he asks her to be gentle around the neck, which she takes note of. Meanwhile, Narumi and the others wonder how long they will have to watch this.
