The comedy crime caper was developed by the multi-BAFTA award-winning team of Tom Davis and director James De Frond (who was behind Murder in Successville and King Gary), along with Hugo Chegwin (from the show People Just Do Nothing), Steve Stamp, Allan Mustafa, and Emer Kenny (Pramface).
The new six-part series will begin in 1985, almost 18 months after his crew unintentionally pulled off the greatest gold robbery in history, and introduce Albert Fantoni (played by Mustafa), who resides in the notorious Costa Del Crime. The post will reveal The Curse season 2 episode 1 release date and streaming guide.

What can we expect from The Curse Season 2 Episode 1?
Eighteen months after the spectacular airport escape, incarceration, and murderous conclusion of the season one finale, the gang is back in The Curse for their second season. It’s 1985, and Albert (Allan Mustafa), Tash (Emer Kenny), and Sidney (Steve Stamp) have moved to the sunny Costa Del Sol, which is now known as the Costa Del Crime.
At the time, UK criminals used this area as a haven because there was no extradition agreement between the authorities of the UK and Spain, so they were completely untouchable. While Sidney operates a beachside tavern under the guise of “Andrew,” Albert and Tash, have used the proceeds from the gold to fund the restaurant and hotel of their dreams.
In the meantime, Phil “The Captain” Pocket (from Hugo Chegwin) has passed away, and Big Mick (from Tom Davis) is incarcerated, awaiting trial but also enjoying the celebrity that comes with being formally linked to the largest gold robbery in history.
Detectives Saunders and Thread are forced to go deep underground in Spain in order to obtain information regarding the whereabouts of the valuable loot because they are unable to make any arrests.
It rapidly becomes clear that Spain isn’t everything it’s made out to be. The criminals are more menacing, the stakes are higher, and vultures are starting to circle.
The disastrous group has definitely gotten out of the burning building, along with the pan behind the cocktails by the pool and the idyllic façade. Who will survive when the curse takes hold in the sweltering heat of Spain?
