But after going 120 feet down without running into any voids or tunnels, they concluded that they must have missed it this time. And when the Dumas mining business ended their investigation project and discovered nothing, there were more dejected expressions.

Dumas had attempted to find a void or chamber by drilling into each of the garden shaft’s four walls to a height of 55 feet, but regrettably, they were unsuccessful. On Oak Island, things may happen rapidly, though. On Lot 4, metal detectorist Gary Drayton and Rick discovered an ax head on last night’s program. Gary guessed the relic might return to the Viking age, but more examination is required.
