The team found significant gold in the wood along the garden shaft’s side. The borehole drill team searched for a tube or void they had previously discovered at 55 feet, which caused dissatisfaction. When borehole DN-10.5 started to pull up loose dirt, indicating there might be a structure close, it looked to show tremendous promise.

Recap
But after going 120 feet down without running into any voids or tunnels, they concluded that they must have missed it this time. And when the Dumas mining business ended their investigation project and discovered nothing, there were more dejected expressions.
Dumas had attempted to find a void or chamber by drilling into each of the garden shaft’s four walls to a height of 55 feet, but regrettably, they were unsuccessful. On Oak Island, things may happen rapidly, though. Emma Culligan, a metallurgy expert charged with examining a piece of wood removed from the side of the gardening shaft during Dumas’s boring operation, had a surprise in store for the group.
The garden shaft’s wood contains gold! Emma found a good deal of gold in the wood. The wood, according to her, contained 0.11% gold. Although this may not seem like a large sum, geoscientist Dr. Ian Spooner declared that it is “huge.” Everyone was given Emma’s assurance that it was “a lot of parts per billion.”
The news completely delighted Rick and Marty Lagina; Emma received a round of applause, and suddenly, the frowns were upside down. Ian understood what to do; he advised them to keep drilling and collecting samples so they might eventually pinpoint the treasure’s location.
The lads had looked at an intriguing old wall on Lot 26, close to the well there since the tenth century. Peter Romkey, a forestry technician, joined the group and immediately began removing a core from the enormous oak tree protruding through the wall.
Peter had previously calculated that the tree must be hundreds of years old when the core was taken to the lab for dating. The team thinks the wall predates the tree; therefore, they will also know the wall’s minimum age once they know how old it is.
The technological expertise used in the wall’s construction sets it apart from other walls on the island. A skilled individual constructed it. Peter, who knows a thing or two about walls, speculated that the stones used in its construction might have been leftovers from tunneling. He thought the wall would be a good place to conceal tunneling evidence.
The lads found that several of the boulders had been chopped or sliced from other rocks as they started tearing down the wall in search of hints. The red granite of these rocks reminded Alex Lagina of the Kingdom Stone from Nolan’s cross, which is also red granite and was carved from another stone.
This made them question if the same individuals who built Nolan’s crucifix also built the wall. According to one belief, the cross was constructed by Templar knights and could serve as a landmark for ancient Christian artifacts buried beneath the ground.
On Lot 4, metal detectorist Gary Drayton and Rick discovered an ax head on last night’s program. Gary guessed the relic might return to the Viking age, but more examination is required.
