The Blue Snake and the Red Moon is the story of Lee-rang, the unluckiest girl, and her short unlucky life. After every crisis, she came to a realization that she had no luck whatsoever. She got tricked into getting buried alive as the bride of a ghost. With a red string of fate, she’s connected to the ghost, and somewhere between the world of living and dead, she’s slowly dying.
Just when she had lost all hope, a blue snake Tajin appeared and told her to tie herself to him to be free, but there was a reason Tajin was buried under the ground for more than 300 years, and now she had a chance to find out why.
Leerang once had another successful day of her business but was late again, and of all the merchants, she was the only one who always returned last. And, of course, they left without her. There was a place named ghost hill, and if anyone passed by, they’d go insane and get lost forever. Now she had no chance but to go back alone.
She was discovered 17 years ago in a mountainous area between some rocks. She was stronger than other people, but she had no idea why. She made the decision to take the shortcut while she was walking past the woodland, and as dusk fell, her terror grew.
The reason she became a merchant and was traveling selling her products was to find out why she was born in a different way than others, in a crack between rocks.
The day she was abandoned, the moon came out; maybe that’s why it reminded her of the beast’s bright red eyes and frightened her, the beast who would pounce on her any moment in the middle of the night. The place was giving her the creeps, and suddenly, she felt a hand on her shoulder.
She saw an elderly woman as she turned around who questioned her about why she was there by herself. Leerang was perplexed to see another person there, but was she also a human? To answer that, you will have to read the manga and find out.
Previously on The Blue Snake and the Red Moon Chapter 112: Recap
In chapter 112 of The Blue Snake and the Red Moon, we saw that Leerang was devasted that she had to leave Tajin back; his body was rotting away. Tajin told Leerang to run away as far as possible, Leerang was precious to Tajin, and he would protect her even if he couldn’t recover ever again.
He told her to go away from him as far as possible he didn’t want to hurt her, even if he had to stay a dragon or become a monster. That’s how much precious she was to him. But Leerang couldn’t stop thinking about Tajin, all the time they spent together, and all those beautiful moments.
She felt like all that had turned into ashes and disappeared. She thought she had met someone who really understood her and loved her, but now she was left alone, not knowing what to do next. She had no idea what she had to do when she got there or how long she had to walk, or where to go, and she was exhausted.
She cursed at herself; she loved him and trusted him with all her heart, but in the end, it was all a lie. Sura was badly injured and limping, Chawoo was a crying mess trying to help him get out of there, thinking about what would happen, but they couldn’t give up. Hojuk’s body was transforming. She was becoming a monster.
Hojuk had completely turned into a monster since her body turned into one that she could do whatever she wanted. She now wanted to make Chawoo and Sura like her. As she stepped forward in front of them, she was stabbed.
