With The Bachelor Season 27 Episode 8, we have finally arrived at hometowns and coming up next week, we’re getting a doubleheader. That’s right, two episodes in one week. I guess we will get one Episode for Hometowns, which will be Episode 8, and Episode 9 for Women Tell All.
Though, I’m not sure how they’re going to fill two hours of Tell All when the only drama we’ve seen all season was Christina Mandrell, Anastasia thinking Kylie was going to literally fight her, and Katharine kissing Zach before Charity’s date.
That’s, that’s about it. Still, in this The Bachelor Season 27 Week 8 preview, not only do we get a look at Hometowns, but we also get some bonus fantasy suite footage. So let’s dive into it and do some Breakdown.
What Will Happen In The Bachelor Season 27 Episode 8?
The Bachelor Season 27 Episode 8 Preview starts with The Bachelor telling us we will get two episodes in a row. We will get the Hometown Episode on 13 March 2023, Monday and The Women Tell All Episode on 14 March 2023, Tuesday. So yes, Episode 8 will be a Hometown episode where Zach will meet the families of the four women he chooses: Katie, Gabi, Ariel, and Charity.
At the start of the Preview, Zach says that he wants all of the four women’s families to understand that he is just here to find the love of his life. I mean, he is telling the truth, but it also sounds to me that “It’s not my problem if your daughter/sister gets hurt.” But we will see what he means by this.
Yes, it’s Hometown’s week, and you heard Jesse buckle up for Monday and Tuesday episodes. Now, this preview is divided into 3 sections. The first is Hometown’s footage. Then the Women Tell All, then Fantasy Suites, which we’ll be seeing in two weeks.
And I’ll be honest with you, this first section on Hometowns really doesn’t change anything from our previous sleuthing, but there is a little bit of drama teased. So let’s take a look and then move closer to the fantasy suite footage.
Zach Meets The Girl’s Families
So we first see Zach meeting Ariel’s brother (and maybe her mother as well), who is very protective of his sister. Ariel’s brother will ask Zach a lot of hard-hitting questions about Ariel, like if Zach knows “Ariel’s middle name” or “When is Ariel’s Birthday” in response to these questions, Zach just shakes his head.
I love how this Week 8 preview of The Bachelor makes it look like Zach is shaking his head because he has no clue what Ariel’s middle name or birthday is. Like, “Dang it, I totally would ask that, but then those nudists came waltzing into our sauna, and I got distracted.”
Anyways, here they’re setting up the classic tough hometown grilling with Ariel’s brother Manley Sheldon Cooper. Using but so often in these hometowns, by the end of the date, the family member who grills the lead often turns around and goes, “Well, if it’s what Ariel wants, then I trust her, and you have my blessing.” Still, there’s more questioning for Zach ahead, so let’s take a look at that.
Zach Can’t Answer Family Members’ Questions?
Then we will see Zach meeting Charity’s family, mostly her Father and Brother. I don’t know who gave Charity’s father the idea that Zach was in love with Charity, but he was talking about that in the preview. Then we see her brother, who is also overprotective of his sister “because she deserves the best.” Then Mr. Big Forehead also starts asking questions to Zack, like “Where is he with the other women?”
And then our boy Zach will be meeting Katie’s family (mostly her mother because her father left her when she was a child). So Katie’s mother asks Zach “if he thinks he might be falling in love with Katie?”.
Oh, and of course, once again, the editors are showing as if Zach just has no answers to any of the questions of the girls’ family members. Like here with charity’s brother asking Zach “where he’s at with the other women.”
I know Zach will, in all likelihood, be actually fine with the questioning, but it sure would be hilarious if Zach responded to every question for two hours by just shaking his head. And hey, maybe he continues his tradition of avoiding any lick of adversity or drama all season and just sends home the family members who question him too much.
Gabi Is In Love With Zach
Then we see another classic Bachelor hometown storyline, the person who’s not sure if they’re ready to tell the lead they’re in love with them. And this time, it was with Gabi. We see some version of this pretty much every season, but whatever goes down with Gabi actually telling Zach or Gabi to wait another week, we know Gabi’s been seen in Thailand, so she’ll be getting a rose no matter what.
Then we’re in the Women Tell All section, where all the rejected women will come together to give us some drama. But I’m just going to be skipping over this. There’s no footage from the actual Women Tell All here. It’s just repeated footage of some of the dramatic moments of the season. All stuff we’ve seen before, so let’s move forward into the bonus footage from Fantasy Suites in two weeks.
No Sex Week?
Then we bead into the Fantasy Suite section, AKA the Sex Week. Here Zach says that he knows that this week is viewed as Sex week, and he knows that it’s not conventional, but he doesn’t want Sex week. Listening to this, I was like, “c’mon man, you would be an Idiot to not take this opportunity.”
So yes, it’s gonna be no Sex week as fantasy suites, and the finale will be taking place in Thailand. But not having sex this week is not as uncommon as people might think. Yes, Fantasy Suites is a time when cameras are away, and you can explore physical intimacy, which is important in any relationship, especially one that’s supposed to have an engagement soon.
But remember, there’s actually so little time on the show where you’re alone without a producer nearby. I mean, sometimes you do get brief moments on dates, but fantasy suites are a long period of time where contestants will be free to discuss core values, religion, political beliefs, you know, things you should probably know before putting a ring on it.
And with how easily things crumbled for Clayton during his fantasy suites, maybe Zach just says screw it. This is the easiest path to no drama, which has been Zacks MO all season. But OK, the preview is now going to imply that Zach might not be true to his word, so let’s see.
The Bachelor Season 27 Episode 8 Preview ends with it seemingly implying that Zach and I think that was the voice of Ariel are going to have a sexy time, followed by Zach saying he really f’ed it up. And just for a moment, I’d love to believe the preview at face value.
Zach tells everyone there will be no sex in the fantasy suite, but then he breaks his word and has sex with one of the ladies. I guess with this crying Katie shot and this creepy one of Gabi spying, the preview is implying that the Woman Zach is intimate with will be Aerial, and that would be pretty wild. But at last, we can never trust these previews.
Most likely, this is all just to jump all together to get us hooked into watching the next few episodes. So that’s it for this preview breakdown of Week 8 of The Bachelor Season 27 hometowns, and the Women Tell All.
