The Ark Episode 9: Recap
Episode 9 of The Ark was released on 29th March 2023, titled The Painful Way. The episode begins with Trust doing some modifications in ‘Faster Than Light Device’ and letting all know about it, however, Bryce does not have any trust in his modification skills. Interrupting the conversation, Alicia arrives and lets everyone know that she has found the locations where Ark 15 and Ark 3 are.
Based on her theories, she also puts her conclusion forward about how they are heading in the wrong direction which will make them come across Ark 15 which would be dangerous for them. While discussing their further plan, William Trust also discusses the shield he made around ark one, but many of the team members would not want to put their lives at risk just only assuming that his invention would work.
While Brian and Eva discussing what their relationship actually is, Alicia blocks all the entries of William Trust from the ship’s operating system on Garnet’s instructions, which makes Trust furious and he, Helena and Lane then decide to take the painful way to solve the problems, if no one wants to listen to him for the betterment of their lives. Meanwhile, Garnet announces the possibility of Ark 15 being the Proxima B, so they have decided to change their way toward Ross 128B, which would add up several years to their survival journey.

After one week, the arguments about the journey toward Proxima B and Ross 128B heat up among the crew members, and in the feud, Brice and Garnet get poisoned by Lane and Trust which makes them unconscious. Lane locks them up in the room and then heads towards changing the way towards Proxima B again as per Trust’s plan. Even Helena becomes a part of Trust’s plan and helps him stop Brice, Garnet, Felix, and his allegiance to get in the way of Trust’s evil plan.
The end of the episode made the shocking revelation that Kelly works for Ark 15 and when Ark 15 came across Ark 1, she made William Trust a hostage and let Ark 15 know about it. As Ark 15 and Ark have finally met, it would be intriguing to know if Ark 1 is going to be a victim again at the hands of Ark 15, or if it will find its way to save all of its Ark members.
