The Anime “Delicious in Dungeon Season 2” Set to Start Streaming in October 2027 Only on Netflix!

TOKYO, JAPAN — July 5, 2026 — Get your cooking pots ready, dungeon explorers! The highly anticipated second season of Delicious in Dungeon (Dungeon Meshi) is officially returning to screens. During the Studio TRIGGER panel at Anime Expo in Los Angeles on July 4th, it was revealed that Season 2 will premiere in October 2027 and will stream exclusively on Netflix worldwide.

Alongside the release window, an “ultra-teaser visual” was unveiled to hype up fans. The striking new artwork showcases the chilling stakes of the upcoming season, featuring the Chimera-turned Falin under the control of the lunatic magician, Thistle. Hot on their trail are our favorite culinary adventurers: Laios, Marcille, Chilchuck, Senshi, and the newest party member, Izutsumi, as they descend deeper into the heart of the dungeon. According to the production team, the grueling and appetizing journey to save Falin is finally reaching the crux of the story.

Based on the immensely popular manga by Ryoko Kui, which has surpassed a staggering 14 million copies in circulation globally, the anime’s first season debuted in 2024 to massive critical acclaim. Studio TRIGGER is returning for animation production, ensuring the same vibrant, mouth-watering visuals and dynamic action that fans have come to love.

For fans who can’t wait until 2027 for more content, the “Delicious in Dungeon ~Dungeon Exploration Radio~” web program is officially resuming. Broadcasting on the KADOKAWA Anime YouTube Channel, the radio show is hosted by Kentaro Kumagai (the voice of Laios) and Sayaka Sembongi (the voice of Marcille). The first returning episode will air tonight at 9:00 PM (JST) and promises to cover the latest Anime Expo announcements alongside brand-new, exclusive information.
