The most-awaited news for Tekken fans is out now. The famous Japanese fighting game “Tekken” is coming up with its new version “Tekken 8″. Bandai Namco Entertainment released a trailer on November 29 that revealed the character of Steve Fox in a gameplay reveal trailer as “Counter-punching paragon” after warning the fans to “Get Ready for the Next Battle” which also marks the comeback of its most famous character.
Last year at EVO 2022, after playing the teaser for the game during Tekken 7’s EVO tournament, the title of the upcoming game was already announced.
In the reveal trailer, it is announced that “Tekken 8” is ready and is scheduled to be released on January 26, 2024, a perfect gift preferred by Bandai Namco Entertainment for its fans. The gameplay will be available on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox One XL.
Steve Fox is going to come back in Tekken 8 as a more powerful fighter, as seen in the reveal trailer. He gives his enemies a good taste of powerful punches. The creators have definitely added some more features to the character, as it is seen as more powerful and confident. Steve Fox’s comeback
Steve Fox, for the first time, appeared in “Tekken 4,” and since then has appeared in every mainline Tekken title. His boxing has been different from others from the start, but along with being a boxer, he’s also Nina Williams’ son, which makes his fighting style more different compared to others and also a little brutal in form.
The first look at Steve Fox’s arrival is just as promising as it always has been. The official trailer, which has been dropped recently, not only showcases his skills as a boxer but also gives complete confirmation of his comeback, as earlier there was doubt of his role being a part of the upcoming Tekken franchise.
On Bandai Namco Entertainment’s YouTube, the reveal trailer for Steve Fox in Tekken 8 was announced with the caption, “Time to knock out the competition. Steve will beat everyone to the punch in Tekken 8”. Steve’s comeback also brings his enemies back on the battlefield against him.
In Tekken 5, a banger was seen between Hwoarang and Steve Fox. Probably, the taste of rivalry and the hatred interaction will be again witnessed between the amazing boxing fighter duo. The trailer for the gameplay has already given a little sneak peek of this duo to the fans.
What are the other characters that could be seen in Tekken 8?
The Taekwondo champion and rival of Steve Fox, Hwoarang, is also making his comeback to give the fans the most desired moment between the rivalries.
Both of them had a heated crossover in Tekken 5, and luckily, as seen in the trailer, fans will have the opportunity to see this forceful level of interaction between the rival boxing fighter duo.
As of now, during the base game, 32 playable characters have been confirmed, along with three newly announced characters, Azucena, Reina, and Victor, who will be added in the first season of DLC, which completes the roster of 32 characters.
