The series follows a very typical isekai genre plot that takes the protagonist into a new world. The protagonist of the series, Naofumi Iwatani, was a normal Japanese guy until he was sent to a parallel world with three other guys. They were tasked to become the Cardinal Heroes and get into a fight to defeat the monster named Waves. Each of these guys receives a weapon, whereas Naofumi receives a shield to defend while others receive attack weapons. Other heroes got support from another kingdom as well as made alliances. But in the case of Naofumi, he didn’t have any luck as the princess betrayed him and ran off after stealing all his belongings.

The Rising Of The Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 1 Recap
The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 1 was released on 6th April 2022 and was titled “A New Roar”. The Episode continues the plot from the last Season as we witness Naofumi watching over Seyaette as well as Rishia. Meanwhile, Rishia was still struggling because of her low base stats. Suddenly, they were attacked by bats. Raphtalia and Filo easily got rid of them. Naofumi gets really anxious after the countdown of the waves stops. Later, all the heroes, including Naofumi, were summoned by Queen Mirellia to inform them about a new issue. After reaching there, Naofumi gets to know about how a new beast named “Spirit Tortoise” has awakened. In addition to it, the beast has already started to rampage several territories.
In order to stop him, Queen Mirellia requested their assistance. No one other than Naofumi accepted to help as they walked out. Later, we witnessed Rishia, who continues to feel bad for not being good enough for Itsuki. To this, Raphtalia advised her to become a slave of Naofumi, so she could gain some of his EXP boosts. At first, she seemed reluctant but, in the end, agreed to it. Naofumi, along with his group, traveled to the kingdom of the Spirit Tortoise. As they were traveling there, Filo made contact with Fitoria as she reminded Naofumi about what would be the fate of heroes if they refused to work together.
After reaching there, the whole team of Naofumi overheated some civilians talking about how the three heroes were killed by the Tortoise. However, this turned out to be a rumor as Fitoria soon confirmed that they were alive.

The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 2 release date is all scheduled, and it will be taking us further into the battle with the Spirit Tortoise. By the end of the first Episode, we witness Naofumi and his team having reached the kingdom of the Tortoise. As they were still taking in the situation, they were attacked by the Tortoise familiar. It forced Naofumi to unleash his Wrath Shield, which ended up finishing them. Just in time, as they think everything is calm, a hooded woman approached them. Surprisingly, she asked them to kill her.
Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari Season 2 Episode 2 Release Date is scheduled for 13th April 2022 and is titled “Footprints of the Spirit Tortoise”. It will begin from the moment Episode 1 ended as we will get to see more about that hooded woman. Will Naofumi and his team kill her? Where will that woman lead them?
