Plot
Based on the life of Stede Bonnet, the ‘Gentleman Pirate’, the series depicts Bonnet’s unexpected journey into piracy in 1717 after leaving his aristocratic life behind. Inexperienced and often comedic, Captain Bonnet and his crew face threats from naval forces and pirates. Their adventures intertwine with Captain Edward Teach and his crew, leading to comedic situations and a surprising romantic twist between Bonnet and Teach.
