The dating show is quite popular among young audiences, and they are curious about Swiping America’s filming locations. The series throws light on a reality TV dating show where we witness a diverse group of singles who are living in New York City. Throughout the episodes, we witness them using dating apps in order to navigate through relationships and find themselves a good partner.
There are many elements to the show, such as relationships and love and connection. We see the singles try to find a match for themselves in 8 different cities across the United States. Johnnie Ingram, as well as Steve Warren, have created the series. They have previously worked on another reality TV program called We’re Here.
There are four singles who take part in the series. First, we see Ashleigh Warren. She is 29 years of age and is an African American woman. While talking about what she wants in her partner, Ashleigh is hoping to find a serious match for herself. Reagan Beaker is second, and she is 30 years of age.
On the show, we see that she hasn’t sorted out her preference yet and is open to anything right now. It can be a casual fling or even a long-time thing. Third is Kesun Lee. He is 28 years of age and is an Asian American man. He wants to find a partner that is as active as him and would love to go out and travel with him for all the adventures.
Last but not least, we see Kris Kelkar. He is 27 years of age and is trying to find someone with values such as kindness. He wants his partner to be funny and intelligent. There are eight cities that the singles have traveled to throughout the course of the first installment, and they are the primary filming locations as well.
Swiping America Filming Locations
1. Asheville, North Carolina.
The very first episode of the show was set in Asheville, where we saw some of the very vibrant locations featured on the screen as well. These places include Biltmore Estate and Pack Square Park, along with the French Broad River. The city is quite known for its beauty and vibrant arts.
2. New Orleans in Louisiana
The second location the cast visited was New Orleans. The city has its own culture and delicious food. The series took us through a joyride of places such as Bourbon Street as well as Jackson Square, and the French Quarter.
3. Miami in Florida
Then the third location was Miami, Florida. You all know how beautiful and vibrant the place is. Some of the locations from the city which were used during the filming process are South Beach and Wynwood Walls, as well as the Miami Metrorail.
4. Austin in Texas
The city is quite known among Americans for its music culture and lively nights. This was the 4th location that the cast traveled to. The places which were featured in the episode were 6th Street and Barton Springs Pool. We also saw the University of Texas at Austin.
5. Santa Fe in New Mexico
The fifth location where the remaining cast went o find their love matches was Santa Fe in New Mexico. The city is quite known for its rich culture and history. Some of the spots that we saw on the screen were Georgia O’Keefe Museum as well as the Santa Fe Plaza. We also saw the Canyon Road Arts District.
6. Boulder in Colorado
Then we saw the cast going over to Boulder in the later episodes. The city is well known for its active lifestyle and beauty. There were many places from the city, but the ones which were heavily featured were the University of Colorado Boulder and Flatirons. We also saw the Pearl Street Mall.
7. Honolulu in Hawaii
Last but not least, the series traveled to Honolulu. The city is quite known for its perfect summer weather and beaches. The entire city is very beautiful, but some of the main locations which were featured heavily on the show were Waikiki Beach as well as Diamond Head, and the Dole Plantation.
