Sweet Reincarnation Episode 1 and 2: Recap and Review
With this, we see that they are moving their finished pieces to the judging area now. During this time, we see that one of the contestants tries to lift his sculpture to show to the judges, but it falls on him, and as a result, he dies.
When he was still conscious, he says that he wanted to create the world’s greatest sweets before he died, he wanted to use them to create a land of sweets and bring smiles to the faces of everyone in the world, and now as he is dying, he thinks that he will never go to achieve his this dream.
When he says that the god is too cruel, the goddess replies and says that if that is the case, then he should allow her to grant him one more chance. In addition to that, she also says that his name in this new world shall be Pastry Mille Morteln, and with this, he gets reincarnated as a newborn baby of a sweet and happy couple.
Later in the chapter, he reveals that the Fief of Morteln, he heard that when his father, Casserole Mille Morteln first become its suzerain lord, it was a barren land that could barely grow wheat.
Pastry also says that his father worked hard beside those who moved there with him, and those who were already living there. Together they spent almost twenty years cultivating the soil. Later, the hard work paid off, and they managed to grow to a fief of three villages of about forty people each, that are capable of growing both wheat and barley.
Later after that, we see Pastry is training with his father, and his father says that he is getting sloppy with his grip again. With this, Pastry reveals that it has been nine years since he was reincarnated as the son of the fief’s suzerain lord.
