About Suzume No Tojimari
Much like other installments by Makoto Shinkai, such as his latest installment, Weathering With You and Your Name, Suzume No Tojimari is also going to narrate a wild adventure from a perspective of a teenage girl and boy. The plot for film will see Suzume, a 17-year-old girl living in a quiet town known as Kyushu. On a normal day, Suzume meets a wandering boy who is apparently looking for a “Door” of all things.
Curious Suzume follows this wandering man on his quest and encounters a weathered door in the ruins of the mountain. It seems as if the door is the only thing that remained after the disaster occurred at the said location. Upon seeing the door, Suzume feels attracted to it by something and she opens the door.
However, there are consequences if you shouldn’t be meddling with the things you do not know and this door brings disaster upon it being opened. Soon, doors across Japan start opening and they bring disaster with them now, it is up to Suzume and the young traveler to close the door.
Suzume’s boring life in a quiet turns into an epic journey by the doors across Japan. This anime film will be similar to many famous anime films by Makoto Shinkai such as Weathering With You and Your Name focusing on natural disasters and “saving the world” situation, is a must-watch.
The elements used in the previous films of Makoto Shinkai will be used again in Suzume No Tojimari and since the movie is already a success in the Japanese regions beating Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, fans in the other regions should look forward to it very soon.

Suzume No Tojimari US Release Date
Suzume No Tojimari’s release date has been announced for the West and the movie will see theaters on April 14th, 2023 in the US. As well as Suzume No Tojimari will also be released in the Eastern Region on the very same day.
Other Countries such as France and Malta in the Eurpose Region will see an earlier release of Suzume No Tojimari on 12th April 2023. Whereas, regions such as Australia, Brazil, Germany, Mexico, and New Zealand will see the release of Suzume No Tojimari on April 13th a day earlier than the US.
As of this writing, there are a few regions such as India, that are still expecting to hear the release date of Suzume No Tojimari in their region. Since India saw the release of the latest installment of Makaot Shinkai Weathering With You in the theaters, Suzume no Tojimari will also be making its way to Indian theaters around the same release dates as the others.
