The American TV series Survivor is about to premiere its 43rd season on the 21st of September. Here’s all you need to know about the streaming dates and times. Survivor originally is a reality television series that claims to record unscripted competitive survival games. It casts those who are mainly unrecognized and stay away from the limelight. The group is brought together in a secluded area without some of the basic needs of human life, food, and shelter. The participants must figure a way out to survive the situation by building a fire, cooking food, and building a stable place. They are also given challenges that they need to overcome by their physical strength, solving puzzles, and other mind games. The American Survivor originated from the Swedish reality game show from 1997 called Expedition Robinson.
The Survival series is produced by Mark Brunett and broadcasted by CBS. It is hosted by the Emmy Award winner Jeff Probst. Season 1 of Survivor, Borneo, started on 31st May 2000 with 14 episodes. Season 42 was released this year on March 9th. On that very day, the series was renewed for its 43rd and 44th seasons. Survivor will be premiering its 43rd season very soon.

When Is Survivor Season 43 Set To Premiere?
After the 42nd season came out on 9th March 2022, the series renewed its 43rd and 44th seasons on the very day. The 43rd season of Survivor will be premiered on 21st September 2022, Wednesday. The series will run on CBS every evening, eastern time.
Season 43 was filmed in the Mamanuca Islands of Fiji. The participants were usually given 39 days which was cut short to 26 days during COVID. Since then, the producers have chosen to keep the upcoming seasons for 26 days. This season, 18 participants have to survive till the end, and the ultimate survivor will receive $1 million. The first episode came out with 2 hours of content. But the next episode will be 90 minutes long and will be released on 28th September.

What To Expect From Survivor Season 43?
The rules for this season will remain unchanged from the last two episodes. As usual, the 18 cast members are will be spread out into three groups or tribes. They will be given basic supplies which they need to make use of. During every conflict, they have to turn to the “tribal council,” where they will discuss and eliminate one person. Elimination is also done by the jury members. The tribes compete against each other till there are lesser people left. Then a final meeting is held when the jury decides the winner. The “sole survivor” is the final winner of the game show, who takes home the one million dollars prize.
CBS has not yet revealed the official cast list. But here’s what we found out. The cast members who are rumored to be participating in the survival show are Cody Assenmacher, Cassidy Clark, Dwight Moore, Jay Jones, Ellie Scott, Geo Bustamante, Lindsay Carmine, Mike Gabler, Karla Godoy, Jeanine Zheng, Jesse Lopez, Justine Brennan, Noelle Lambert, Nneka Ejere, Owen Knight, Ryan Medrano, and Sami Layadi.
Host Jeff Probst has revealed the new elements that the 43rd season will encounter. Probst said in an interview that old markers “like small tribes, earn the merge, no food, risk/reward dilemmas, Shot in the Dark, are here to stay.” According to him, the team has decided to change some game elements here and there because they “wanted to give players a new series of problems to solve.” With a promise, Jeff Probst assured the fans that this would be the new era of the series.
