Super Psychic Policeman Chojo is officially coming to TV this fall. The anime’s official team has announced that the series will premiere on October 6, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. JST. It will air on Kansai TV, Fuji TV, and other affiliated stations across Japan.
Based on the popular Weekly Shonen Jump manga, the series blends supernatural comedy with police action and quirky characters. With the premiere date now confirmed, fans can look forward to more updates, including new trailers, theme songs, and additional cast announcements before its debut.
Experienced Staff Lead the Adaptation
Studio Arvo Animation is producing the TV anime adaptation. Junichi Yamamoto is directing the series, bringing experience from projects such as Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion and Maebashi Witches.
Series composition and scripts are handled by Hayashi Mori, whose previous work includes Sand Land: The Series and Cells at Work! Code Black. His experience should help balance the comedy and supernatural elements.
Masakatsu Sasaki is serving as the character designer. Known for his work on TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You and Seiyu’s Life!, he will bring the manga’s expressive cast to television.
New Late Night Broadcast Slot
Super Psychic Policeman Chojo will be one of the featured anime in the new “Ka-Anival!!” Tuesday night programming block on Kansai TV and Fuji TV. The series will air at 11:00 p.m. JST during Japan’s popular late-night anime schedule.
This time slot is often used for new seasonal anime aimed at older teenagers and adults. It gives the series a good opportunity to reach its target audience.
Before the TV premiere, a special stage event will be held on September 8, 2026, in Odaiba. The event will include an advance screening of the first episode along with appearances by members of the voice cast.
