A quick recap
Natasha queries Sullivan about Beckett. She informs him that some people have expressed worry. Although Beckett may not be drinking again, according to Sullivan, it is obvious that he lacks leadership skills. Sullivan proposes they ride together to work so he may get out of the car a few streets away when they begin getting ready for work.
Natasha instantly dismisses that notion and tells him it would be perilous because they are a hidden couple. Travis is campaigning and attempting to outdo Dixon while speaking with the union. Vic envies Travis’ contentment with Eli, his new campaign manager.
She vents to Andy, who is the most ardent opponent of Eli. Andy acknowledges that she hated looking him up on Google the night before and hated how charitable he is. It would be horrible if I were flogged but refused to acknowledge that it was a person.
Speaking of Eli, he is directing Travis to tell the media about Dixon’s panic call. According to him, Travis should take off his mitts and participate in the murky world of politics. As predicted, Travis fiercely opposes this notion and thinks it would endanger their careers and Crisis 1’s future.
Eli worries that Travis won’t be able to attend the union meeting, but Travis reassures him that everything will be well. The firefighter girls’ camp gets off to a smooth start, but a storm could spoil everything. Fortunately, Vic and Natasha are in charge and are capable of handling anything.
During camp, the crew is called upon to assist individuals whose helicopter was struck by lightning. Gibson, who was there to meet Andy, is given the order by Natasha to assist Vic while she manages the situation.
Eli is telling Travis to inform the press about Dixon’s distress call since we’re on the subject of Eli. Although things start well at the firefighter girls’ camp, a storm could ruin everything. Vic and Natasha are in control and can handle anything, which is a blessing.
When Natasha asks Vic for her judgment on Beckett at the station, you can be sure that Vic doesn’t hold back. Gibson enjoys himself and is reminded of why he enjoys his profession while instructing young females. On the other side, Vic begins to experience a crisis as she questions whether she is carrying out her mission.
Fortunately, Natasha manages to speak with her and offers her the position of formally leading Crisis 1. Travis hurries to the group meeting while the squad returns to the station. Eli is furious that he is late, partly because he repeatedly stressed to Travis how crucial the meeting was.
Travis is also upset over missing the meeting and becomes much angrier when Dixon makes fun of him. He requests Eli to disclose Dixon’s Crisis 1 call out of rage. Andy then has a conversation with Maya. Maya claims that Andy embarrassed her on the field, but Andy has none of it.
They are supposed to function as a team, but she warns Maya that she’s self-destructing and practicing a solo attitude. She begs Maya to quit battling those who are assisting her. Maya dismisses her and goes to the gym, interrupting Andy as he is speaking.
