STAR WARS Zero Company Nominated for PC Game of the Year at the Golden Joystick Awards 2026

STAR WARS Zero Company has earned a nomination for PC Game of the Year at the Golden Joystick Awards 2026, putting Bit Reactor’s tactical take on the Star Wars universe among this year’s most recognized PC releases. The game is competing against Big Walk, Crimson Desert, Escape from Tarkov, Esoteric Ebb, MECCHA CHAMELEON, Mewgenics, Order of the Sinking Star, The Blood of Dawnwalker, and Valheim.

The nomination comes shortly after the game launched on August 27, 2026. Developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games, STAR WARS Zero Company is a single-player, turn-based tactics game set during the twilight of the Clone Wars. Players command Hawks and a squad of unconventional operatives while confronting the dangerous Infinite Coil and its leader, Kundri Fathom.

STAR WARS Zero Company Brings Tactical Strategy to the Clone Wars

The game puts a strong emphasis on battlefield positioning, squad composition, character abilities, and decisions made between missions. Players can recruit different types of operatives, customize Hawks, develop their base, and build relationships between squad members that unlock new combat synergies.

Bit Reactor CEO and Creative Director Greg Foertsch previously explained the studio’s approach in the official Electronic Arts announcement, saying its vision was to combine the Star Wars galaxy with turn-based tactics while delivering an original Clone Wars story and meaningful player choices.

The Golden Joystick nomination adds another major recognition for the game during its debut year. The 2026 awards feature 21 publicly voted categories, with voting for the current categories closing on October 23. The ceremony is scheduled to take place in London on November 11, while Ultimate Game of the Year voting will run separately from October 26 to October 30.
