Scheduled for release on February 22, the upcoming single-player campaign serves as the final component of the $24.99 / £22.49 Expansion Pass for the game.
In this new adventure, players assume the role of Agent 8, awakening to a drained and colorless Inkopolis Square, with its residents mysteriously vanishing.
Confronted by the ominous Spire of Order, accompanied by a drone claiming to be Pearl of Off the Hook, Agent 8 faces waves of enemies across challenging floors on the journey to uncover the secrets of the Spire. The gameplay involves utilizing color chips to enhance abilities, offering a replayable experience.
The first wave of DLC, titled Inkopolis and released last year, provides players the opportunity to “relive a functional version of Inkopolis from the original Splatoon,” as outlined by Nintendo.
Additionally, the company has announced plans to release Zelda and Splatoon concerts on its YouTube channel in the coming month, originally intended for Nintendo Live 2024 events that were cancelled due to safety concerns.
