Kraft will be wallowing in his misery as he finds himself tied and unable to move in Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets The Wise Wolf Episode 12. The mission of moving the sheep was turning out to be a success until they re-entered the forest. Things became much worse when it started to rain during the late daytime.
Kraft and Holo were assigned to with Martin to go to the nearest city for exchange with a Sheperd named Nora. Nora had brought her sheep along with her due to what her job entailed along with her dog. She was to act as their guide in the mission and to ensure their safe return back to their city.
The first part of the trip went on with ease, with wolves only looking from a distance and not doing much. However, it was odd to Holo and Nora as to why the wolves would keep themselves at bay and not attack them. This didn’t become clear until their return trip when they had to traverse the forest once again.
The wolves were on the trail of four, even in the rain, making bold moves here and there. Everyone assumed that their goal was the flock of sheep but it was only Holo who understood better. The forest’s wolf spirit wanted to have a showdown with Holo so as to prove his worth, and the wolf diety was more than willing to indulge him.
