Actors Son Suk Ku and Park Bo Young are officially teaming up for the first time in the upcoming fantasy romantic comedy film “Kiss For Tomorrow.”

The casting announcement was confirmed on November 2, 2026, by the film’s investor, Next Entertainment World (NEW).

The production has already begun filming, with cameras starting to roll on October 31.

The upcoming movie promises an unusual romantic storyline that combines comedy, fantasy, adventure, and a time-loop element.

It follows a mysterious married couple who cannot move on to the next day without sharing at least one kiss.

Their seemingly ordinary relationship takes an unexpected turn when they become separated during a cruise trip and embark on a desperate search to reunite.

With two popular actors taking on the leading roles and director Kang Hyung Chul returning with a new cinematic project, “Kiss For Tomorrow” is already attracting attention from movie fans.

Son Suk Ku and Park Bo Young to Play a Married Couple

In “Kiss For Tomorrow,” Son Suk Ku will portray Ji Kyung, a devoted husband who deeply adores his wife, Oh Sung, played by Park Bo Young.

Having fallen in love with her at first sight, Ji Kyung is portrayed as someone whose life revolves around his relationship with her.

However, the couple’s romantic journey takes an unexpected turn when they become separated during a cruise vacation.

Ji Kyung suddenly finds himself alone in an unfamiliar location and struggles to find his way back to his wife.

His desperate attempts to reunite with her will reveal a more helpless yet endearing side of his character.

Park Bo Young will play Oh Sung, a lovable and energetic wife who also finds herself separated from her husband aboard the cruise ship.

Determined to reunite with Ji Kyung, she does everything possible to find him.

The film’s central fantasy concept adds an unusual condition to their relationship: the couple must kiss at least once every day to face the following day.

Their unexpected separation therefore becomes more than a simple search for one another, creating a series of romantic and adventurous situations.

The project marks the first time Son Suk Ku and Park Bo Young have worked together in a film, making their on-screen chemistry one of the aspects audiences will be looking forward to.

Director Kang Hyung Chul Begins Filming Across Korea and Overseas

“Kiss For Tomorrow” is directed by Kang Hyung Chul, who is known for popular films including “Scandal Makers,” “Sunny,” “Tazza: The Hidden Card,” “Swing Kids,” and “Hi-5.”

The filmmaker is recognised for combining humour, emotional storytelling, and distinctive visual presentation.

The new project also marks his first venture into the romantic comedy genre.

By incorporating fantasy and adventure elements into a love story, Kang aims to deliver an entertaining cinematic experience centred on the couple’s unusual circumstances.

Following the beginning of filming on October 31, production will take place at various locations in South Korea and overseas, including Singapore and Thailand.

The large cruise ship setting and international landscapes are expected to contribute to the film’s visual appeal.

Director Kang shared his thoughts about starting production, saying,

“As time goes by, each film [I make] feels increasingly precious.

I will cherish the experience of beginning production today and do my very best to bring audiences a delightful and enjoyable experience.”

With filming officially underway, “Kiss For Tomorrow” is preparing to bring its unusual love story to the big screen.

An official release date has not yet been announced, leaving fans waiting for further updates about the film and its progress.
