He encounters several elemental spirits whom he defeats using Goguma, his Ancient Dragon. Then he used the Brand Of Tribulation to make them work for him. He was contacted by the representatives of both The Murim and The Empire.
He ignored the Murim, enraging its leader Soo Moo-Yon enough for him to contact the Ghost Blood Sect to go after his friends. He made a deal with The Empire making it easy for the others to return unharmed. Making his way to the Good King’s Grave, he encounters Casey and Judro, who, after seeing his prowess decide to join his cause. He uses Soul Stigmata on them, to be sure.
Teresa, Yoo-Sung, and Alice, who were looking for Jin-Hyuk in ruins, are suddenly attacked by Yeom-Ho, the Leader of the Ghost Blood Sect, and his henchmen. Jin-Hyuk arrives just in time to defeat him and save Yoo-Sung. They make their way to the Good King’s Grave, but Moo-Yon and his followers arrive through Spatial Transition and attack them. Jin-Hyuk finds Horn That Brings Despair and blows it, summoning the first calamity, The Black Scorpion.

Jin-Hyuk used the Horn That Brought Despair and summoned the first great calamity, which was a Giant Black Scorpion. I am sure it’s no match for Jin-Hyuk, but Moo-Yon looked terrified after seeing it. Moo-Yon ingested a reverting pill which doubled all his stats, but still, he seemed very afraid of the beast.
However, Jin-Hyuk is not one to do anything rashly. So it’s safe to assume that he has already secured a way to defeat the Black Scorpion. Better yet, have someone else do it for him.
