Solo Leveling: Chapter 191 Recap

Before we dive into the spoilers, let’s take a moment to recap what happened previously in the manhwa. The previous chapter was quite an emotional rollercoaster for the readers, with humorous scenes involving Jin-Woo’s family life and the heartbreaking death of Geon-Hee. The chapter begins with Jin Ho and Jin Woo drinking together and Jin Ho claims that he is finally going to propose Jin Ah for sure this time.

Jin Ho also shows the expensive ring he bought for Jin Ah and asks Sung for advice on how to approach the matter. Sung gives Jin Ho some sensible advice telling him that he doesn’t need to give Jin Ah expensive gifts to show his affection. At home, Hae In is having a conversation with Sung’s shadows, as they fight to impose their own training on their toddler. Sung tells his shadows to argue about it once his son has at least learned how to walk.

Police Chief calls Sung to discuss the sudden disappearance of a suicide victim’s father and informs him that the President Geon Hee is in critical condition. When Sung goes to visit Geon Hee, he asks Sung to show him the old memories where they fought together to save the mankind. It was an emotional ride as Sung showed Geon Hee old memories. Soon after, Geon Hee passes away peacefully after experiencing those memories once again.

Sung is quite emotional about Geon Hee’s death and tells him that he did well in saving the world and sacrificing a lot for humanity’s sake. As Sung leaves the hospital, he gets a frantic call from Hae In who is in shock after Soo Ho started flying around. Sung tells Hae In that he will reach home early and teach Soo Ho how to fly properly and have better control.
