Smilegate Anime Expo 2026 Featuring MIRESI and Chaos Zero Nightmare Activations

Smilegate has officially dropped its full lineup for Anime Expo 2026, giving fans a closer look at what to expect from two of its upcoming titles, MIRESI: Invisible Future and Chaos Zero Nightmare. The announcement highlights an ambitious booth presence featuring interactive experiences, live panels, and exclusive merchandise at North America’s largest anime and pop culture event this July in Los Angeles.

According to Smilegate’s official reveal, both titles will receive dedicated showcase spaces at the Los Angeles Convention Center, each offering a distinct experience tailored to fans and first-time players alike.

MIRESI Brings Its First North American Demo Experience

MIRESI: Invisible Future will be one of the standout attractions at the event, marking its first-ever hands-on demo in North America. The game’s booth, located in the West Hall, is designed as an immersive environment where visitors can directly experience gameplay while interacting with its characters in a unique setting.

A major highlight is the four-sided LED experience zone, which previously drew attention at global events like Tokyo Game Show and Anime X Game Festival. This installation allows fans to engage with the game’s world in a fully surrounding visual format. Participants who complete interactions inside the zone will receive a collectible Polaroid-style card featuring the character they encountered.

The booth will also include a 360-degree photo zone, giving attendees the chance to capture stylized images using a multi-angle camera setup. On-site activities will extend to cosplay-driven events, including a themed turntable challenge where participants attempt to time their interaction perfectly with a rotating cosplay model.

Fans who complete missions across the booth can collect stamps and unlock exclusive rewards, including a PVC bag and a special happi coat featuring the character Itsuka.

Live Art Panel Featuring Hyung-seop Kim

Beyond the booth activities, MIRESI will host a special live drawing panel led by Hyung-seop Kim, also known as Hyulla. Known for his work on titles like Destiny Child and NIKKE, Kim will headline a “Thicc Character Drawing Show” on July 4 at 8:45 PM in Panel Room 408AB.

The session will include additional guest artists who will reinterpret MIRESI characters in their own styles, offering fans a rare behind-the-scenes look at character design. Attendees will receive a limited-edition premium postcard, adding another layer of exclusivity to the event.

Chaos Zero Nightmare’s First Offline Event in North America

Meanwhile, Chaos Zero Nightmare will make its first in-person North American appearance since launch. Its booth, located in the South Hall Lobby, is designed to bring the game’s mechanics into real-world interactions through themed activities and challenges.

One of the main attractions is a “Dice Battle” event inspired by the game’s core concept, alongside photo zones and scheduled sessions with cosplay models and developers. Fans will also have the opportunity to attend autograph sessions with key members of the development team.

The booth will feature a collectible card system tied to participation. Each activity rewards players with trading cards, and those who complete a full set will receive a special bonus card. Completing the entire collection enters attendees into a drawing for a rare 24K gold card, adding a high-value incentive for dedicated participants. A live trading area will also allow fans to exchange cards with one another.

Developer Panel Focused on the Future of Anime Games

Chaos Zero Nightmare will also host a developer panel on July 3 at 7:45 PM in Panel Room 403AB. The session will feature key creators, including Kim Hyung Suk and Kihyun Kang, who will discuss the evolution of 2D anime-style games and share insights into the development of Chaos Zero Nightmare.

Attendees of the panel will receive a limited-edition card collectible, further tying the event experience to the game’s in-world systems.
