In the previous chapter of Sleeping Ranker, Hyunsung falls into another scenario called Main Scenario 2, and he has absolutely no knowledge about it. He sees that there is a spy guild already flocking the area, and Hyunsung pretty much just beats them up.
Hyunsung looked pissed about his divine relic and wipes the floor with the spy guild while they could not even do anything. They all just looked hilariously terrified of Hyunsung and even called him an Asura. Hyunsung deduced that the Aromin Guild had probably hired the spy guild, but it didn’t really matter because he was pissed about how they rushed to beat him up the moment they saw him.
Well, it was probably because Hyunsung had messed with the scenario, and he ended up in here because of the priority thing. The scenario is called the Demon King’s ruins, and we get to know the backstory of that strange place and what the scenario is all about as well.
Apparently, a Demon King appeared long ago who was ripped apart and sealed in here. Of course, he was not killed because he was probably too strong. Now, the Decaying Knights are trying to dig up the three fragments, maybe to resurrect the Demon King or gain some power.
Hyunsung had to stop the Decaying Knights by finding the fragments before they did. Hyunsung decided to give the fragments to Thana because he would probably get all excited about it. He had no use for it himself anyway.
