In the previous Shangri-La Frontier episode, Rei made an unexpected discovery. It was seen that Rakuro had already arrived in the Secondil region. It was also discovered to be true that Rei belonged to one of the seven clans created to slay seven potent and different creatures, including the terrible Lycagon.
Rakuro delivered flawless hits on the vital weak places of Lycagon, but he was unable to advance in the game because Lycagon bit off both of his legs. Rakuro, however, is unwilling to give in to Lycagon and is determined to find him first and overthrow him.
After regenerating, Lycagon’s Curse struck Rakuro, preventing him from donning armor but making his body and legs impervious to magic. The only way out of the terrible cursed situation was to either defeat Lycagon or recruit the aid of a Saint.
Additionally, he was unable to defeat monsters that were stronger than he was. After changing back into his swim trunks, Rakuro discovered a Unique Scenario: an invitation to Rabituza, the city of rabbits. Rakuro accepted the challenge despite being unaware of its difficult skill requirements, and a white rabbit named Emul praised him for succeeding in obtaining the innermost essence of the Vorpal Rabbit.
Lycagon’s curse had made Rakuro the first player ever to be selected to meet Rabbit King Vysache, and he was now a deadly foe. The flashback revealed that Rei began playing the game on Mana’s recommendation and with his promise to include Rakuro so that they might become closer. Let’s see when episode 4 of Shangri-La Frontier is going to release, the timings, and where to watch it.
Shangri-La Frontier Episode 3 Recap
In Episode 3 of Shangri-La Frontier, Rei is curious to find out how Sunraku, also known as Hizutome, performed his amazing in-game achievements.
A number of the gamers who helped Hizutome in the previous episode are questioned by her. She is surprised when her opponents inform her that Hizutome has reached the second town in the game and has even managed to take out a challenging snake monster.
Rei awards one of the players as soon as she learns this information, and then she vanishes, leaving her cloak with a wolf insignia behind. The players claim that this insignia is associated with a clan that specializes in taking down the formidable in-game monster Lycagon the Nightslayer.
Lycagon and other unusual monsters are incredibly rare in the game’s fictional world. Since they are so powerful, they have been given the name “Colossi.”
Clans that seek rare monsters are often where the best players hang around. Sunraku decides to fight Lycagon even though he can kill him with a single blow.
He executes a flawless defensive move, hitting Lycagon, which seems like a good start. As the fight drags on, Sunraku appears to be winning since he scores crucial hits and deflects Lycagon’s blows. As Lycagon begins to teleport and deal with deadly strikes, it becomes clear that this combat will not be straightforward.
After roughly five heated minutes, Sunraku understands that his attacks aren’t doing any harm. His preferred weapon, the Vorpal Choppers, is also in jeopardy of breaking. Sunraku is committed to defeating Lycagon despite the astronomical odds. He is unfortunately defeated by Lycagon, and to make matters worse, the Colossi curses him, leaving him with a noticeable scar.
Due to the devastating effects of this curse, he is now more exposed because he cannot protect the scarred places with armor. It also changes how he interacts with specific characters and renders him resistant to some magical effects.
Only destroying Lycagon or requesting help from a Saint can remove the curse. The result of this intense battle is level 28 and a lot of experience for Sunraku. After Lycagon attacks, he chooses to use one of his luck points in the hope that it will save him. An amusing allusion to Alice in Wonderland is made in this episode. Sunraku chases after a white Vorpal Bunny with a tuxedo and hat in search of a strange object.
Due to his superior gaming abilities, Sunraku is granted access to the “Invitation to Rabituza” scenario, which is ordinarily only accessible to players at level 80. Normally, this scenario only allows level 80 players to participate.
Emul, the rabbit whom Sunraku has been hunting, appears in Rabituza, a city where Vorpal Bunnies live. The leader of Rabituza, Vysache, asks to talk with Emul about their dispute with Lycagon. After learning about this unusual situation, Sunraku is first excited, but his excitement soon fades when he meets Vysache.
Vysache, who isn’t as cute as the Vorpal Bunnies, appears to be a formidable samurai, leaving Sunraku stunned and awestruck. As Sunraku fights Lycagon after Shangri-La Frontier Episode 3, Rei studies Hizutome’s accomplishments and has an unexpected encounter with Vysache in Rabituza. This chapter provides hints of a big, action-packed gaming world that is just waiting to be explored.
