Sunraku and others went to meet the unique NPC Setsuna of bygone days in the previous episode. Viewers are excited to witness their meeting in Shangri-La Frontier Episode 13.
Towa Amane had a strategy meeting with the members and gave them some input on reaching level 50. Meanwhile, Sunraku was trying to find the hidden area in the iron ruins perfect for grinding.
But he was still wondering how long it was going to take them. Oicazzo told him they would not find out until they tried it. They reached a place where the black panels were sliding all over the area.
Oicazzo mentioned that it looked like a whole different game in there, and Sunraku explained that they could do some cool adventures like glitching out moving platforms and similar stuff.
Oicazzo suggested that he should wash away the horrible game filter from his eyes. Oicazzo realized that he had experienced that vibe before.
It was similar to the final boss stage in Brave Galaxy Fighter, but Sunraku had never heard about it. Sunraku asked Oicazzo his level, and when he told him he was at level 25, Sunraku started laughing at him.
Because he was at level 31, Oicazzo reminded him it was not a big difference. Emul told Oicazzo Sunraku that he was worried that he was not strong yet, so he was in a helpless situation.
Oicazzo told them it was not true and mentioned that Emul misunderstood everything. All of a sudden, a pyramid dropped from above, which turned out to be a suppression drone.
Sunraku realized that there were enemies mixed in with the floating panels. Oicazzo told Sunraku he could just watch as he volunteered to take down the suppression drone.
He wanted to prove that no matter how low their level was, SLF still gave them a chance. Emul was concerned about Oicazzo, so he suggested that Sunraku lend him some of the aid.
But Sunraku declined her suggestion, and Oicazzo took down the suppression drone with a repel counter. He thought the pyramid had a simple attack pattern.
He was wondering if they were supposed to practice counters on those guys. He then went on with his crush, uppercut. Emul was excited because Oicazzo was indeed very powerful in her eyes.
Recap
Sunraku was curious about Oicazzo’s red aura. He was wondering if it was some kind of buff. Oicazzo informed him it was indeed a buff, a form of spell that gave him bonuses to strength and vitality.
He mentioned that it was called Spirit Fist Red, and to defeat the suppression drone, he picked up his spirit user monk.
Even though he could not equip weapons, in exchange, he gave himself buffs and beat everyone with his powerful fist.
Sunraku asked him how it was built, and Oicazzo told him it was built with lots of HP and vitality. He mentioned that it was a light fighter, and Sunraku got the information that it was built in a way that always assumed the opponent would soak up a lot of damage.
It made sense to Sunraku that a fighting gamer like Oicazzo would rather kill his opponent before it killed him. Sunraku found out through the map that the floor ahead of them led to the hidden area.
They had to pass along the left side of the plate with the big hole. Sunraku and Oicazzo had to jump over the fissure to cross the big hole.
