The project, originating from Ahmed’s Left Handed production company, aims to expand Prime Video’s comedy lineup following the success of shows like The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Joining Ahmed as co-showrunner is Ben Karlin, known for his work on Modern Family and the recent series Minx. Prime Video’s venture into this new comedy series is anticipated, although neither a title nor a release date has been revealed yet.
