Actor Seo Kang Joon might make a comeback to television screens soon. On March 6, insiders from the entertainment industry revealed that Seo Kang Joon is in talks to take on a role in the upcoming drama “Undercover High School.”
Man Of Creation, Seo Kang Joon’s agency, responded to the reports, stating, “Seo Kang Joon received an offer to star in ‘Undercover High School’ and is reviewing the offer positively.”
“Undercover High School” is described as a comedy-drama centred around a man who assumes the guise of a high school student. While concealing his true identity as a National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent, he builds connections and relates to his fellow students during his school life.
The script for the drama is penned by Im Young Bin, known for his work on the drama “Bad Prosecutor.”
Seo Kang Joon is said to have been offered the role of Jung Hae Sung, the undercover agent posing as a high school student. If he accepts the offer, this would mark Seo Kang Joon’s return to the screen after completing his military service in May of the previous year.
With plans to commence filming in the first half of this year, “Undercover High School” aims for a release in 2025 through MBC. Keep an eye out for more updates on this exciting development!
