The anime adaptation of the beautiful fantasy romantic comedy manga series is all set to release, and that is why fans of this amazing storyline are very excited to see their favorite characters into action and anticipate the release of Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence Episode 1.
Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence, or Shiro Seijo to Kuro Bokushi, if you prefer, is an amazing Japanese manga series that was originally written and illustrated by Mangaka Hazano Kazutake. The very first chapter of the manga started serializing in Shonen Magazine R, which comes from the house of Kodansha, on April 20, 2017, and ended on January 20, 2023.
However, from the next month, which means from February 2023, the serialization of the magazine has begun in Monthly Mega Kichi and is still ongoing. It currently has more than twelve volumes and still counting.
In June 2022, it was announced that the anime adaptation of Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence is in production with the popular Japanese anime studio Doga Kobo. Not only that, but it was also revealed the series would be under the direction of Sumie Nora, and Yuka Yamada has the scripts.
Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence were initially about to premiere in April 2023, but due to the sudden increase of the Covid 19 in the country, they delayed the release date.
What Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence Is All About?
When the series starts, we see that a woman with her child comes to Pastor, and while apologizing for disturbing him when he is busy, says that her boy only wants to speak to the Saint.
This is when Pastor says that he does not mind because he does not have anything else to do right now and reveals that the Saint is inside and he can meet her.
Later, we see that that child is in front of Saint, where she asks him if there is something he would like to talk about. This is when the boy says that he had a pretty quarrel with his friend, and that is why he thinks that it would be awkward if they ran into each other, and asks the Saint what he should do about this.
On the other hand, the Saint asks him if that is the case, then what does he think he should do to remove awkwardness between the two of them. The boy says that he would like to return to the past, and that is why he asks her to use her magic to turn back time.
However, the Saint says that she can not do that because she can guide people onto the correct path, and they must use their own will. In addition to that, she asks him if he already knows what he wants to do after that, and that is why there is not anything that he should be worried about. The Saint reveals that that is the correct path.
The boy’s mother, who was looking at them from a distance with Pastor, asks him if they are troubling the Saint with their presence. Pastor says that there is no way because she will listen to any of your troubles. To help people by clearing their doubts, that is the role of a Saint.
