RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 8 Episode 7 Recap
This episode is a spoof of a forensic show and it goes by the title of “Forensic Queens: Wha-Ha-Happened to Lil’ Poundcake?”. In it, there’s a contestant from a previous season named Lil’ Poundcake who went missing, and it’s up to the participants to find him. Each contestant gets a role. Alexis Michelle played the district attorney, Jimbo played a forensic examiner, Jessica Wild played a fellow competitor to Lil’ Poundcake, Kahanna played another competitor. Laso, Kandy played a detective and Lala Ri played a security guard.
We also saw a runway show in which each participant played a different skit, like Jimbo playing Miss Tits Mangee, or Jessica Wild playing Miss Sausage Party. In the end, Jessica Wild, Lala Ri and Jimbo got good points, with Lala making it to the top stars thanks to the criticism and reviews of guest judge Javicia Leslie.
As for the lip-sync portion of the show, it was up to Jorgeous and Lala to perform Lizzo’s “About Damn Time” with Lala winning, pocketing a cash prize of five grand and eventually sending Kahanna out of the competition. With five contestants left in the show, Lala Ri, Kandy, Jessica Wild, Alexis Michelle, and Jimbo, the egos are starting to inflate while others are on their way down. Who’s next to get the boot? We’ll have to figure it out next week. One thing is for sure, the solid contestant is Jimbo, as he’s managed to win the most episodes this season.
