Dallas is also thrown into the quicksand and ends up in a cave where he discovers a recognizable necklace that someone else was wearing when he vanished weeks earlier.
Liz and Rosa spent the episode in New York, but an awkward dinner with Shivani occurs. Rosa reaffirms her need to be her true self after she admits that she feels uncomfortable. Rosa advises her to do the same for herself because she was successful in doing so in New York. Maria discovers who was attempting to contact her. Liz finds Maria at the Crashdown when she gets home. She had come to the diner to get her mind off more bizarre events, like a feather floating and the jukebox playing music.

Maria discovers that Alex has been trying to get in touch with her ever since they spotted a milkshake that has been spilled and turns out to be Alex’s favorite flavor. Liz fears that he is dead in light of this. Alex, is he dead? Hopefully not, though! Particularly if we discovered that Dallas was transported to a different location when he crossed the quicksand. Perhaps Alex experienced the same thing and has been attempting to contact his loved ones. But how could he possibly be doing this?
