Riverdale Season 6 Episode 17 Review
Riverdale Season 6 Episode 17 saw the musical touch coming back to the show. But unlike the musical episodes from the past, this one didn’t really stand out. The songs are good, but they don’t offer much to the plot to move on. We can easily skip those parts and still understand what’s up in the show.
Coming to the whole Betty and TBK thing, the story finally concludes. Plus, the point is that the arc was built up for a long time, and it paid off. Amidst all of this, the new development between Drake and Betty’s relationship is something we really didn’t see coming and did not want.
Especially around the time were Archie really wants to make it work with Betty. Drake’s involvement may mess the whole thing up. We really enjoy watching Betty open up to Archie as she faces her trauma on her own. So let’s hope for the best when it comes to Barchie.
Again, this was one of those episodes where Percival’s long stretched arc takes a backseat all over again. But we hardly can miss him, right. Percival’s attempt to build the railroad continues, and the heroes know more about his weakness. By the finale, it is going to be a toe to toe competition for sure.
Lastly, after hovering around the idea of Cheryl reuniting with Heather as her partner, Riverdale finally gave us that relationship. But it came off with an unnecessary arc where Cheryl wanted to ruin Toni and Fangs’ marriage. Especially when we clearly saw Heather-Cheryl happening right the moment Heather showed up.
