Qwan’Tez Stiggers made a significant impact in his debut season in the Canadian Football League (CFL), catching the attention of NFL teams in the process.
As the CFL’s most outstanding rookie last season, Stiggers has been actively sought after by several NFL teams, including the Baltimore Ravens, New York Jets, Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, and Houston Texans, according to his agent (via KPRC2). Stiggers is scheduled to meet with the Minnesota Vikings next.
The former player in the Fan Controlled Football league joined the Toronto Argonauts last season, where he showcased his skills with five interceptions in 16 games. Despite not having played college football, Stiggers left his mark in the CFL with 53 defensive tackles and three special teams tackles.
Stiggers also participated in the East-West Shrine Bowl and is eligible for the 2024 NFL Draft. At just 22 years old, he topped the FCF charts with five interceptions and recorded 30 tackles, earning a finalist spot for the league’s defensive player of the year award.
With NFL teams extending opportunities to Stiggers, his fate in the upcoming draft will unfold by the end of April.
