However, he hid the true treasures, including the legendary pill recipe, in a different, secret location, believing that only someone with a noble heart and pure intentions would be able to unravel the complex riddles and clues to find them, unlike those simply pursuing destructive swords and strength. Ironically, the one who ends up passing this test is none other than the roguish Chung Myung.
There are intriguing layers and dimensions to the intentions and worldview of the medicine immortal/sword god who built this elaborate facade. As a healer, he wanted to help the people but grew disillusioned and furious, seeing how martial artists would turn around and use their strength to inflict harm and dominate others.
