Restoring Galveston Season 5 Episode 8: Release Date, Spoilers & Streaming Guide

Magnolia Network’s Restoring Galveston is all set to air its final episode from the new season this week. With them making the best out of Galveston Ranch house last week, this time, their project will be much more thrilling, as it is going to be the season finale.

Restoring Galveston was first seen on television on April 6th, 2019, with Michael and Ashley Cordray being the hosts of the show. Since they’ve been in Galveston for almost all of their lives, this renovation expert couple wanted to help transform the local homes on the island without making them lose their charm to modern designs. The Cordray couple started renovating homes right from their backyard and are now one of the most popular renovators in Texas.

Throughout the show, we were able to see Michael and Ashley transform multiple homes into beautiful and cozy living spaces that somehow always maintain that classic Galveston charm within them. We also see the Cordray couple deal with homes that are usually on the verge of being destroyed or abandoned for good. No matter how small or big their work might be, the Cordrays can easily mix things up and create the best outcome in any of their restoration projects.

Restoring Galveston Season 5: What Has Happened So Far?

Just like they do for all of their new seasons, Michael and Ashley made sure that the premiere episode of this season was going to be filled with amazing transformations. Their first project this season was “The Pink Shack,” where they had to fix a 1914 house in a dilapidated condition. After making the whole house a perfect modern home, they shifted their focus towards a vintage wooden sign that could be used in a very clever way. With the help of the sign, they make a cozy little corner in the 1914 home.

Another project the Cordrays work on is the sad and desolate Victorian home that was left to be demolished after falling victim to a huge fire. It’s almost as if Ashley and Michael just know when they find a diamond among the coals, as what once looked like a dark and grim house is transformed into one of the most amazing modern homes in Galveston. It’s not just the outer damaged structure that’s fixed, but also important rooms like the kitchen and bedrooms, which were made brand new and all shiny.

After a successful streak of renovating good homes, Michael ends up making a slightly off-balanced guess as the cottage he once purchased turns out to be a disappointment. First built in 1893, the raised cottage looked promising from the outside, but when the Cordrays finally get to see it from the inside, it turns out to be a very underwhelming experience. Despite what happened, the Cordrays try to fix it up and turn it into something better than it was before.

During a small outing, Michael and Ashley noticed that the property was for sale nearby. When they get to see more of the house, the Cordrays realize that it could be a wonderful duplex house if given the proper makeover it was desperately in need of. The most recent episode of Restoring Galveston shows the couple changing things up from what we had seen in the last few episodes, as they were now looking to renovate a ranch that happened to be built on one of their neighbor’s land.
