A 107-year-old Ford Model T arrived with full brass, a break, a little pucker, lights, and a few flies in it. He had it for ten years. This case was not unusual over thirty years ago. While the garage mechanics got worried about whether the car worked, the owner said that it used to work till a couple of years ago. Thus, the answer to the question is ‘No.’
A few months ago, David Grainger and his wife, Janice Stone, realized that they restored cars for others but owned none. Meanwhile, David found ‘his car’ online and grabbed it. The driver would get busy enough steering not to have a coffee. It was a kind of modified 1930 Model, A hotrod. 51 monarch head and 49 Mercedes do not excite him as the hotrod does.
Made in the 40s and 50s, the hotrods are period pieces. These cars do not drive themselves, and one must continuously keep their hand on the steering to go straight ahead. Thus, the hotrods drive David crazy.
Brad finished working on the 1962 AMC Rambler before it went to San Diego’s Comic-Con. A fan on Facebook quickly understood that the car was used in 3rd Rock From the Sun broadcasted on Cozi TV. Brad attached a new digital dashboard to the restored yellow-colored 1966 Chevrolet C10 pickup. Overall, viewers liked both episodes.
Expectations From Restoration Garage Season 9 Episode 3
According to David, almost every car came for actual restoration about 35 years ago. On the other hand, these days, almost every car comes for modernization and to get good enough to appear on the streets.
In the upcoming episode, David will confess that he likes making cars harmless for the users in the case of restoration. For instance, a Fiat 500 Abarth with a black body looked old according to the cover with modern inner parts and efficiencies. Thus, it was a high-end restoration model.
However, Talon will put the show on fire by dealing with the Fiat 500 Abarth efficiently. A serpentine kit will get installed by him on the ‘67 Firebird engine. Barry will get busy with the ’53 Packard to paint the new steering wheel. Meanwhile, Ron takes a car on a test drive and gets worried by a mysterious noise made by it.
We know whether it is a 1930 Dodge Pickup or a 1948 Delahaye, and the Guild will get ready to do it for you. According to the requests made by the fans, the show makers are planning to broadcast it in Canada on Discovery or Velocity. However, further details are yet to come.
